How Badly Do Americans Really Want The Truth I Mean Do They Even Want It Could They Even Handle

How did the Europeans treat the Native Americans?

Rape, Murder, Genocide, Torture, Assimilation, Forced Removal from their Lands, Kidnapping, Scalping, Stealing, Lieing & More.

They did not treat Natives well. They didn't understand Native culture and made little attempt to do so. Instead they justified their actions by labeling Natives savages and heathens. They thought it was their right, their Manifest Destiny, to be here and take the land. They made up laws that allowed them to take the land at whatever means necessary. They called Natives less than human so they wouldn't feel bad by all their negative actions. All these things are true, you can look them up. When you do research you should read stuff written by Native Americans not Europeans. Otherwise you will not get the truth. Many today do not want to accept the truth because it hurts and its scary. Everything I have written can be proven though.

Why do Americans use clothes dryers to dry their clothes, even in the middle of summer?

I may be one of the best people this question, because I have a lot of experience in this.  As someone who has lived in multiple countries in east asia and am originally from the US, I can tell you there are three appliances that Americans really want: 1) Clothes Dryer, 2) Dishwasher and 3) Garbage Disposal (#4 may be Oven since that is not everywhere too.)   Why? It's a convenience that are used to that saves time.  I remember one of my Asian friends asking me, "I don't understand why you need a clothes dryer? I can just hang up my clothes and they are overnight..."  And my response is, "Really overnight?  If I put them in the dryer they are dry in less than 1 HOUR!"  Also, in fact, NOT everything is dry the next day, some items seem to take almost two days to dry.  I remember my mother-in-law washing our clothes the day before we left for home (and this was the hottest of climates) and the next day we were still packing damp clothes.  Also, among all this, 1) many times inside hung dry clothes get a mildew-y or moldy smell, 2) clothes hung outside absorb the environmental dust, 3) clothes outside absorb car exhaust, 4) I get really tired (and embarrassed) of looking at my friend's bras and underwear when I visit their apartments, since they live in a small place and they can only put it in their very visible family room window or balcony.  Especially since a good dryer can even handle delicate items, I only hang dry silk and other things that should not go in the dryer.  Note, with using dry cleaning bags in your dryer, you can even save some cash from going to the drycleaner.   Now, don't get me started on why I prefer dishwashers (actually saves time, skin AND water) or garbage disposals (less flies and stink!)....Anyway, all this is a personal preference, and for each their own.  Note I know many Asians who lived in the US, adopted these conveniences, and when moving back to Asia could no longer live without them.  I also know many Americans who did not mind changing their ways (especially since it saves energy.)   However, if you have a big family, and/or if your kids have costly school uniforms that need washing multiple times a week, one can really enjoy the benefits of this convenience.

Would you approve native Americans starting a nation?

as you may know, there are over 500 native American tribes in America, in reservations, living under the most unlivable condition. many are victims of violence, drugs, and rape; partially due to the fact that America fails to properly handle native American affairs.

If native American tribes seceded and became small nation, or if it were under a protectorate system like Puerto Rico, do you think it would work? would you be okay with it? why or why not plz.

Did anyone dated Albanian?

It sounds like another generalization to me. However, some cultures are more ethnic than others. I know an Albanian whose husband isn't an Albanian. I also know a couple who has been dating for a long time but haven't married because they have different ethnic backgrounds. It is up to the individuals in any case. lol

My MIL offended me when she said, all amerian women are sluty hungry money women,Advice?

My husband is from Russia and when I first met his mother she asked "Are you one of those Americans''? I asked "what do you mean by one of "those Americans"?
The lazy, uneducated, money hungry slutty women'' ( This is translated from her "Russian Language")
I told her no that I am an Educated women, who has a job and If you really want to know, I am a virgin. I told her this and she called me liar. That was almost 3 years ago and I have been working my *** off to prove her wrong. But every time she turns on the tv and sees all of the "crap", I can some what understand how she is getting these views?
Suggestions please. Most of his family has the same views of Americans...Suggestions on how I can fix that?

Why do some people hate the truth so much?

In terms of personal truths, I, Like most people, I believe, have constructed a very specific persona - that part of ourselves we want others to see. Deep down we know that we fall short of this ideal more times than we would like to admit. And there's the rub. When someone calls us on something bad we have done, we are embarrassed. It's like being caught with your hand in the cookie jar. Our mask has a crack in it, and our confidence gets knocked down a peg.Outside the personal realm things get more complex. Here we encounter the dilemma of truth versus reality. One man's truth is another's delusion. My reality is not yours. Let's say I am a pollyanna who believes that everyone is inherently good. I believe that, so I see it manifested in my daily reality. You, on the other hand, believe everyone's out to get you. You expect that, so you are always catching out people trying to take advantage of you. If we discuss these "truths", I don't like yours. It sounds so negative and unloving. You just think I'm stupid, a sitting duck. It is very hard for us to hear the other's truth because it contradicts a deeply held belief. If you are right, I have to face a cruel world I have never known. I cannot accept this. If I am right, likewise, you are going to have to trust people to do the right thing. How can you trust when you never have before? Most likely each of us will deny the other's truth and walk away just a little less sure of ourselves. So what is the truth? Ah....Now that is an answer for another time.

Why are people defending Alicia Sacramone when she was an EPIC FAILURE?

I was actually just blocked by Alexa5678 because I mentioned that Alicia failed to execute 2 of her routines. Why can't people handle the truth? She did fail.

And why are there so many excuses for her. "Give her a break" and "Could you do better?" are childish responses. It's the OLYMPICS. You can't compete in the Olympics if you can't perform under pressure, so that's only an excuse to say that she is a failure. And there are a lot of girls who would've DIED to be in her spot, but she was chosen and she blew it MULTIPLE times.

She fell off the balance beam, she fell on her rump during the floor excercise, AND she stepped out on her floor exercise.

Why defend her? Why not just admit that she was a mistake? Defending her is just saying that America doesn't have Olympic-worthy gymnasts, and I don't believe that!

What does it mean to be blunt?

To tell the truth and get right to the point of the conversation. To just out right speak the truth. To not sugar coat things to make something negative seem not so bad. Sometimes there is just no nice way to say something. To speak frankly. To not dance around the issue. To not beat around the bush.A person who is blunt isn't always a very liked person. Being honest often hurts others feelings but its better than being a liar. Most people who are blunt are pretty honest people who feel like they do not want to live in a world of illusion and lies. To live and authentic life. Blunt people usually appreciate each others honesty so you will often see them together. Some blunt people can be somewhat loud and outspoken as well. Even though they are doing nothing wrong many people don’t like to hear the truth and will shun them.If you are a person who speaks bluntly often you are awesome and everyone else like to live in lala land.
