How Bizarre Is This Behavior Of Mine

Is Elon Musk's arrogance and bizarre behavior going to hurt Tesla?

I was chatting with my 14 y.o. son regarding “Elongated Muskrat” (as my son called him - I almost died), and he said something I thought was pretty insightful: He thinks that he’s been acting the way he has because he’s lost his way.SpaceX has proven to be immensely successful, the battery install in Australia went well and he’s got another big solar battery install planned for Silicon Valley, and the Hyperloop idea is really moving forward quickly.But…he’s got business issues with Tesla and is dealing with a lot of criticism regarding the problems that are being experienced. He may be feeling a bit of a slump right now, and for people like him, that is unacceptable and incredibly frustrating.People like Elon Musk are wired differently than the rest of us. His commitment level is something I can’t understand or relate to, and his work ethic is considered by some to be borderline destructive. He drives towards his vision, whatever it may be at a given time, and will work relentlessly towards fulfilling that goal. Anything that gets in the way is quickly dealt with, but not always in a way that many consider socially acceptable.I’ve heard it termed “tortured genius” and I think it’s an apt description.

Do borderlines ever regret discarding you? Mine is acting like I was the one who discarded her.

Yes, I believe they do have many regrets. They're smart and realise when they've lost a good thing.My older sister has BPD, so I've had a front row seat to her 5 marriages/ divorces and many other failed relationships. I'll make it clear now that I love my sister and have stuck with her through many ups and downs.For many years no one in my family understood why she had so much trouble dealing with people and society in general. But we tried to be supportive to the point of being enabling.Finally at 50, my sister had met a very sweet man who became her husband #5. He was a very compassionate and caring man who truly loved and cared about her. They lived together for a few months and got engaged. During this time, he started to confide in me about her odd behavior. She was raging at coworkers at her great computer tech job at a nice law office, that treated her like gold. Then she was over spending and bouncing checks, to put it mildly. So naturally, she made a big ugly scene at the bank. She was demanding that her new husband of 1 month, take his kids out of his will and make her his soul heir. So he got her in to counceling where she was misdiagnosed and put on prescriptions that actually made her more manic. That's when she decided that her new husband was abusive since he was putting boundaries up and not letting her spend his life savings on her gambling and pain med addictions. So she she made her plan to leave him. She found a place to live and ordered all new furniture and happily executed her exit from this “abusive man”.Fast forward a few months after she moves out from husband #5.My sister and I are having lunch where a middle age couple are seated near us. My sister turns to me and pouts, “I don't understand….I'm just as good looking, if not better than some of these women. Why do they have husbands, and I don't.”So my personal, unprofessional take on this is that she just can't face the truth that she fucked up.I hope this gives you some peace.

Normal for bearded dragon to curl up while sleeping?

I just brought him home today, so everything is new. But I've never had a beardie before that has curled up like a dog with his head on his tail before. I need to go out and buy a ceramic heater tomorrow because mine stopped working last minute, but there's a heating pad and he's curled up by it. The daylight basking bulb was just turned off an hour ago - so I don't think it's cold in there. I'm getting a new thermometer tomorrow because mine is broken. But is this normal sleeping behavior?
4 minutes ago - 4 days left to answer.

He's about 4.5 months old, and was running around chasing crickets like a lunatic earlier - eating veggies like a champ! Is this just how he's decided to sleep? A few minutes ago he was sprawled out on a log, now he's all curled up. It's bizarre.

Am I really seeing Evil Spirits or is it just my imagination??

About 2 years ago I started to get ppl talking to me in my head they sounded mean and nasty. So I would always tell them to go away, because whenever i spoke i heard their voice not mine. About 2 to 3 weeks later maybe more than that i started to see things. I saw ppl dressed in black, but then they kind of just faded away this would happen anywhere, in my house, at my cottage, on the streets, ANYWHERE! So I started to kind of get scared, then about a year ago I was at my cottage and saw this figure, who was kind of short and wearing all black. She walked from one bedroom to the other. So I followed her thinking it was my mom, because she was about my moms height and size. I went into the bedroom that she walked in and no one was there. Then about 3 months ago I was riding the bus home, when in the street i saw that same person get run over by a car. I told my friend but no one was there. Then they just vanished. It wasnt an actual person.

So plz help me and give me answers!! thx

What makes people answer all these questions, including mine?

Social Media behavior/phenomena/psychological tendency called "Feedback Loops"Discussed here:http://andrewchen.co/2014/03/17/...

What can I do if a guy friend of mine is telling people we have kids together when we've never slept together and aren't dating? He even has pictures of babies that he shows people. How do I bring this subject up to him? Why is he doing this?

In India we have a common idiom being used “Laton ke bhoot baaton se nahi mante” which means Stubborn people always look for good thrashing since they hardly care wordy advice .Your words will not work here. So file a police complaint and a legal support and sue him.I have professionally counselled so many people and many time heard real life stories from woman being raped, used but they made to feel that it's just in relationship when the guy would be dating, will be in relationahip with multiple woman and they are so completely unaware of anything what's going underneath. I heard many date rape situations too and woman go silent. And after few years they will write in books or on quora too and get many upvotes. But for what reason I wonder. India many time world media calls and even people insult by saying we have “rape culture” but West and Europeans should think are their own woman really safe. Aren't this a rape world out of theirs. I never heard a single woman not being raped there or exploited in situation as this and kept within.In India or even in certain parts of Asia if woman go through anything as this woman surely at least reach for police or legal support. And that is must for every woman to do. If same thing happened here that guy would have been beaten black and blue, probably killed in public. That's worse for sure but we have legal system for woman to seek help rather than post later aftermath stories on social media or write a book and claim goodies or go for #metoo movement .All I am saying is complain to police and take legal support.

Why does my dog whine and bite at his leg after eating?

Jack Russells as a breed are known for having bizarre habits. Mine does this weird thing where she walks around licking the air for half an hour after every meal. I've never been able to understand why she does it, but it doesn't seem to bother her any so we've just learned to ignore it.

Researching online, there's very little info on this kind of thing for any breed of dog. The closest I could find was a disease that some breeds (particularly yorkies) are prone to, "Portosystemic shunt (abnormal blood flow to the liver)", where the lack of proper blood flow to the liver causes toxins to build up in the body.
One of the signs of this disease are "changes in behavior after eating" or "abnormal behavior after eating". What that actually means, we can only guess.
Symptoms can include:

* Abnormal behavior after eating
* Pacing and aimless wandering
* Pressing the head against the wall
* Episodes of apparent blindness
* Seizures
* Poor weight gain
* Stunted growth
* Excessive sleeping and lethargy
* Straining to urinate due to bladder stone formation
* Patient with a shunt may have many clinical signs and some have only a single clinical sign
* Some dogs do not show signs until they are older

I wouldn't say that your dog has this disease, especially if the only weird thing he does is his leg chewing thing after he eats, but it might be worthwhile to talk to your vet and have a test or two run just to rule it out. After reading all this, I'm certainly glad to know the other symptoms so I can keep an eye out for them for my dog! Who knows, I might have a couple tests run on my little girl myself just for my own peace of mind.

Cats licking plastic - are mine the only ones that do this?

And why? Why do they do it? They sit there and lick shopping bags, baggies, etc. (yes, I do throw stuff away, but I have kids who leave stuff out, and if there is a pack of paper towels sitting on the floor, they will sit there and lick that wrapping!).

Can this harm them? Does it taste good? Are my cats insane?
