How Can I Achieve My Goals When I Have Nobody To Help

It is true that the only way to reach your goals is to help enough people reach their goals?

That would depend on your goals, wouldn't it?In addition, it's rare that there's only one route to anything.However, helping other people reach their goals is a really GOOD way to reach many goals you may have.I watched (some VERY famous scientist someone on this site will recognize) give a talk once.  He has every award given except the Nobel and that's only because they don't give Nobels in his field.  He has the Lasker. MIT, I think.He talked about his work, and he mentioned that "this grad student was now running that drug company," and "this other grad student was now working at this famous research institute" and "someone else was over here..." and "someone else was running the National Health program in that healthy country" and you get my drift.It crossed my mind that he had helped all these people, once fairly lowly grad students, achieve their goals.  Now, those former lowly grad students were the people on the nominating committees for every. single. major. award. in these fields.Hum. Go figure.

I want to achieve my goals, but I don't believe I can do it. How can I change that and start living?

Look, I understand where you're coming from because I have been in the same situation. Here's the thing, too much thinking about a dream and all that we have to cover to achieve it leads to paralysis of action and overwhelming self doubt. Do you see a lot of dumb people achieving something greater than intelligent ones? Its because they don't think so much, they simply act. Suppose you want to be an IAS officer, what do you do? You write down the syllabus, you do your paper analysis and then you get overwhelmed by how much you gotta study and how little time you have and how you need a photographic memory for this. But what you actually need to do is divide the work into chunks that make logical sense. Then you study stuff in small chunks…..like today I will study the history of democratic government in India for 10 minutes. Whatever your task is, the thing you find so difficult to imagine covering, just do it for 10 minutes at a time without thinking too much. Write an answer in 10 minutes to give the big exam or walk for 10 minutes to lose weight or draw a picture for 10 minutes to do your art course or run for 10 minutes to run in the Olympics. The point is to get over the threshold barrier and there is not a damn thing you cannot achieve in this world.Another thing that you might be fighting against is a spiral of negative thoughts that you can't control. Whenever you are trying to do something about your dream, the anxiety and negative loop starts. It's actually because you have created a connection in your brain that leads you to this thought process every time you think about this dream of yours. The only way to disrupt such thinking is to immediately think about something ridiculous and distracting and funny like a big huge lurid pink elephant in your bedroom. The distraction should be positive, hilarious and visually distracting in your mind. Do this and the 10 minute trick and I swear you will be successful at every endeavour you undertake.P.S. I cured myself of an illness (which was deemed incurable but not deadly by doctors) by doing the things I thought I couldn't do for 10 minutes and consequently got my self a job.

Why don't guys like when girls have goals? Why am I still single? I'm sad.?

I've never had a boyfriend & I'm going to be graduating college next year, but I've achieve many goals in life.

-In high school, I was an all year round varsity player as a volleyball, basketball, and captain of softball teams. I won homecoming queen, state finalist in America of Homecoming Queens. I can say I had a lot of friends, barely was alone.

-Currently during my college years, I've entered in bikini competitions in my freshman, completed marathons summer of sophomore year, I'm a straight A college student, yet I still like to go out and party on the weekends. I plan on a doing a mission trip through a church by my college next year before I graduate.

-I have also I have goals after college, I want to compete in Miss America pageant, write a novel, and visit places.

I feel like I have a good head on my shoulders, that I'm not just any original girl. I've been told several of times that I could get any guy I want. That was a lie, I really liked this one guy in my class, we studied together, but I was getting wrong vibes from him that he doesn't want nothing to do with me, sadly the semester is over & I probably won't see or hear from him again.

I just hate being single especially around Christmas time when everyone goes ice skating. I get sad, nobody feels right, but that one guy from my class. It's just hard, yet I smile & I'm happy all the time, but I truly breakdown because I'm afraid I'll never find "him."

I apologize for being a debbie downer, I'm just having a bad night while my little siblings are out with their boyfriends and girlfriends right now. I hope you can help me out.

I'm depressed and i have nobody to talk to?

I know this feeling quite well and I understand how you feel. Iand#x27;m exactly in the same situation as you but I still have hope. I believe that God has created everything for purpose. You just have to find that purpose. All you lack is an ambition. Set a goal and made yourself busy in achieving it. And always remember that "You are you, there are things that only you can do and nobody can ever replace you." If you just look on the negative side everything around you becomes dark and negative. If you look on the positive and bright side of life then you might found things that will make you happy. And if you feel that much lonely then why not try having a diary or a journal, share your feelings in it. It doesnand#x27;t help that much but youand#x27;ll feel good. All you need is hope, faith and an aim and once youand#x27;ve these youand#x27;ll see the sun. :) Good luck. May God bless you. Cheer up, there are bad things but if there are no bad things then youand#x27;ll never know what good things taste like. So, smile ! :)

How can one use stress to achieve life goals?

Stress can be a powerful motivator or a terrible deterrent. It is a motivator if it entices you to make positive action and propels you toward goal achievement. It is  a deterrent if it frustrates you and keeps you in a "victim mentality" so you become so immobilized that you do absolutely nothing! When used properly, stress can help you achieve your goals.For instance, if you feel stressed about your lack of money and inability to do nice things for your family, this stressful situation might encourage you to seek a higher paying job, open a business or taking further action to change the situation.  On the other hand, if it causes you to go into a deep depression where you can't do anything then it is a bad thing.The key is to change your mindset and change your life. Use stress as a motivator but do not let it discourage you! Use its power to give you a gentle push into success and goal achievement.

How do I be motivated towards my dream when nobody supports my idea?

How can I improve myself to achieve something in life?

Have a clear GOAL. Have a goal which makes you go wild. Give your 100% to achieve itHow badly do you want to achieve your goal?Are you crazy enough to do anything it takes to reach your goal?Will you get up at 6am without an alarm to work towards your goal?Would you sacrifice all the leisure and pleasure of life for your goal?If the answer is NO, then you need to find a goal which drives you to do the above things.
