How Can I Arrange Answering To The Previous Letter On The Top Of The Message On The Bottom

If you are writing a business letter on behalf of an entity (i.e. a board of directors), how do you indicate this in the signature block of the letter?

If you are writing on behalf of a board of directors, you will have some official role with the board.Your role might be an officer (president, secretary, treasurer, etc.) or an assistant (secretary again, etc.).You would thus use your name and title. What I’ve seen is typically a closing like this.Sincerely,Ms. Bridget Jones, SecretaryInterplanetary Board of TravelHOWEVER !!! CAVEAT !!! DANGER !!!You have to follow board by-laws and protocols on who can say what on behalf of a board. Otherwise you can get at odds with a board really, really fast and pay a price.A board usually has very clear protocols on who can write anything on behalf of the board. Anything going out that is attributed to a board has to have been seen and approved by the board. And often the way to send it out is send it under the board president or CEOs name and title. So a more likely closing might be:Sincerely,Mr. Peter Pan, PresidentInterplanetary Board of TravelPP:yyThat last code PP:yy would be a way of signifying that the letter is going out under Peter Pan’s name, but was typed by yy — meaning you, but you would use your own initials in lower case. Whatever you do, don’t write or act outside of your clear authority and do not act or write without board approval.PS I have worked with a number of boards over the years and I saw a number of missteps people could make. They usually amounted to exceeding authority, not communicating, not getting authorization, and not understanding the rules.

Should I text the other woman pretending to be my husband?

If I were you I would wait until he was sleeping then take his phone and text her with this. Hey there. Thinking of you. Would you please re-send some of those pics to me? then wait and see what happens.

Why are the keys on the keypad not arranged in alphabetical order?

I know. It's beyond belief! The letters on a mobile phone (T9) keypad are alphabetical, and with 5 billion users, make it the most popular keyboard ever. The reason the letters are all messed up on the computer (and now, smartphone/tablet keypads) dates back to the typewriters of the 1870s.Originally, the keys on typewriters were alphabetical (vowels on top, consonants underneath), but typists got too fast.(in this graphic the letters are shaded to show the relative frequency of letters in english words - the brighter the letter, the more common it is).Due to the position of certain letter pairs (e.g s-h, t-h, e-a, e-i, o-u), the type arms would jam if typed too quickly. So they simply moved the problematic letters around. And the infamous QWERTY layout was born! You can see that nearly half the  letters kept their original alphabetical position - most notably - e, o, d, f, g, h, j, k, l and v, x & z. Promoted as the "non-jamming typewriter" (combined with the ability for salesmen type the word "typewriter" entirely from the top row of keys), it was a marketing success! However, they created an even bigger problem - a learning curve that now required months of lessons and years of practice to master. Why we've decided that such a horizontal layout would suit a vertically held smartphone, I do not know.

How can I write a letter?

Addison Hughes123 ABC StreetGreencastle, IN 999993/1/2018Quora ReaderWWW Quora BlvdQuora, USA 17623Dear Quora Reader,So you want to write a formal letter? Good for you! This Guide will help you to construct a logical, well-built letter. There are six main parts to the letter. After I have finished the letter, I will put a template for reference at the bottom. The first main part of the letter is a block of text stating your name, address, and the date the letter was sent. This is important especially if you are expecting a response sooner rather than later! The second part is a similar block of text naming the person you are sending the letter to and their address. While not necessary, this part makes it all look more professional, so I would urge you to do that. The third part is the salutation, a formal greeting to your reader. In a standard letter, it is the “Dear ______” section. The fourth part is the body. This is the part that contains most of the information contained in the letter. In this sample letter, the last three paragraphs of text from “so” until now is the body.Another optional part is the last paragraph. In this paragraph, you will simply end your letter on a good note, which can really help to make a good impression. This is the last part of the letter before the sign off, where you just leave a short kind note, followed by a reiteration of your name. Hopefully with this sample and the template at the bottom of this answer, you will be well on your way to writing a good letter! Happy writing!Kindly,Addison HughesTEMPLATE:Your NameYour AddressYour AddressThe DateRecipient’s NameRecipient’s AddressRecipient’s AddressSalutation,Body Paragraph—————————————————————————————→Body Paragraph—————————————————————————————→Body Paragraph—————————————————————————————→Final, Friendly Paragraph————————————————————————→Sign Off,Your Name

Chance a college transfer please?

High School GPA I graduated with was a 3.6 at an academically difficult high school. I had a 3.2 GPA during the time when I was applying to colleges (I went to an academically challenging prep school).
I had an SAT score of 2290 (took the SAT my 1st year of college since I heard I will need it as a transfer)

College GPA = 3.9 (currently in my second year of college)
College I attend is Armstrong Atlantic State University.
Major = Biology (looking to go to Business school but in case that doesn't work out I can earn a good job out of college with a degree in biology, I will take more business courses for my final two years of college)

Extra curricular activities in college include

- organizing a local lake clean up and encouraging my fellow students to participate
- Volunteer hours at a local hospital (120 hours total)
- Member of the student government
- Did the "Alternative Spring Break program" where I helped tutor kids at a local public school and helped some high school kids by giving them SAT prep. Also helped in rebuilding a house.
- Member of the biology club
- Member of the politics club, I am also the vice president of the club at our school
- Joined up with three friends of mines and helped to start a food drive.

**My parents will be moving out of the southeast and I have been wanting to move out of here for a while now. My professors often tell me that it would be better if I transfer because I belong at a top university and many are willing to write me a letter of recommendation. I am not satisfied with my current institution, there is limited opportunity here. I am planning to apply to the following colleges as a transfer (application deadline is in March, done the applications for most of them):

1. Yale University
2. Stanford
3. Columbia University
4. NYU
5. Penn State University (University park Campus)
6. Syracuse University
7. Georgetown
8. Brown University
9. University of Pennsylvania
10. Boston College
11. Boston University
12. Cornell University
13. University of Maryland
14. Dartmouth
