How to avoid gaining weight while on vacation?

So I'm leaving on Saturday for the shore for a week with my family - and every year we go, there is always delicious fatty foods. We go out to eat a lot, get desserts a lot (because you can really only get them there)...etc...you know how it is. I really am scared to gain weight this year...I think I only gained a pound or two at the most last year, but I really want to watch it this time. We always go for a morning walk (but sometimes I bike or run) for about 2 miles, sometimes more sometimes less, and then I boogie board in the ocean for a few hours. Does anyone have any tips, like foods that would keep my metabolism up? I was thinking that snacking on healthy foods frequently would rev up my metabolism. Thanks :-)

Scared to gain weight on vacation?

I'm spending 10 nights all inclusive with friends and 7 nights cruise with my family. I'm currently 116 pounds and 15 years old, almost 16. I eat 3 meals a day about 4/5 times a week, and 2 meals 2 or 3 times a week. I avoid chocolate but do treat myself probably 4 times week. How much weight could I expect to gain? I doubt I'll do much excercise, at the minute I go to the gym for an hour 5 times a week

I gained weight on vacation...lots of it?

I recently went on vacation to the Dominican Republic for 2 months. Beautiful place, with great food. So great that I gained 15 pounds of pure fat. I didn't notice till I got home and tried to put on the jeans I bought before i left and they wouldn't go past my knees!

I have never dieted. I don't know where to start, and I never have excersized so I am in no shape at all. What can I do to start? I don't like being this heavy at alll!!!

I'm going on vacation to a theme park for 3 days and want to take a quick break from watching what I eat. I've lost about 12 pounds during the last two months and have been eating really healthy and organic. I weigh about 120 pounds now. Also we're going to be constantly walking around. Would I gain a ton of weight back after three days of eating a restaurants and not so great foods? Thanks!
