I wanna be homeschooled?

I totally understand. I just became homeschooled this year.
1.) How to ask her? Just ask her when you are alone with her! The worst thing she can say is no. Make sure you give supportive reasons to persuade her.
2.) Is homeschooling fun? YES, although I miss my friends. But we still hang out and stuff so its not like I will never see them again! You can wake up whenever you want, wear your pj's all day, learn what YOU WANT, eat whenever you want, etc.
3.) Taking a test to go back to public school? Not sure, but most likely yes just to see what classes you will need and what level you are on.
4.) Is it more understanding? Hmm...tough one. I don't know. I guess so, because you can ask questions and look things up online until you understand it.
5.) How many classes? Usually about the same. But you are responsible for gym, art, etc. unless you take classes on that. You will need to sign up for a 'co-op'. It is like a school for homeschoolers. They meet up usually once a week to go to classes such as Biology (which I cant learn at home) and Current Events and English.
6.) Does homeschooling take up a lot of time? Nope! I work independently on a homeschool computer software, because my mom is usually working. You can do whatever you think you are comfortable with.
Sorry this is long--
FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT HOMESCHOOLING-
You can use the bathroom whenever you want-NO STUPID HALL PASSES. You can eat whenever. You can do whatever you are comfortable with- For Gym I play JustDance Wii and Wii Fit ahhahaa:) You meet lots of new interesting people at co-ops!!! WE HAVE AN AMAZING PROM with a red carpet and popparazzi hahaha (well atleast my co-op does)

Can I be homeschooled for GCSE?

Yes you can be homeschooled for GCSE - we can help at Riviera Tutors, for example - but aside from the academics it sounds like you need to have a look at what's going on at school socially, and the reasons for your problems around your peers. It's difficult to comment meaningfully about such a complex and involved situation with little info, but if the problem is to do with those around you (and it often is), then a change of environment may be the easiest solution - you say that you can't change schools, but this is something you should look into for sixth form if your current school is causing you so much stress. If the issues stem from your depression and anxiety, then seek help: learn and gain techniques from professionals to help you cope better.Sorry not to be more useful - homeschooling is an option, but I would urge you to tackle the bigger problems here if at all possible, as they will not go away and will only resurface after the homeschooling.

Should I be homeschooled and learn on my own?

I was homeschooled for a few years and have a lot of friends who were as well. One general trend that I've found is that kids who homeschooled themselves (i.e. had parents who weren't that involved or didn't have a specific plan of attack) often didn't do that well in college. So, unless you can find someone, whether a parent or a tutor, with knowledge of general university knowledge requirements, who will guide your learning for the next few years, I would advise trying to find an alternative to your current school other than homeschooling. Such alternatives include:Transferring to a magnet, Montessori, charter, alternative, or private school with more experiential and self-guided study options; Taking classes at a local community college (you can often get double high school and college credit for these); Studying abroad for a year; andJoining a home-schooling co-op (parents who band together to home-school their kids). Also, take the AP Stats and CS tests if you haven't already. You can take the tests even if you haven't taken the courses at high school. And if none of the options I suggest above work, and if you can pass AP tests with self-study (including in less interesting subjects—don't neglect the humanities, esp. writing and research!), go ahead and home-school yourself.Passing as many AP tests as possible will give you about as good an education as going to high school and not doing any homework would, and will give you a great leg up in college credit. However, if you take this route, join some kind of extracurricular that will give you socialization and public-speaking/presentation skills (i.e. Debate, Glee Club, Improv Troup, Choir, Drama Club, etc.).

How can I be Home schooled if my parents work?

How can I be homeschooled with my parents working? I know it's summer but I want to get prepared so that when school does start I can be homeschooled.Well Im going on to the 9th grade, and I live in Texas. So is their any way for me to be homeschooled with my parents working?Online school? Also, how can I pursuade my parents? Thnx :]

Can I be home schooled for free? If so, how?

Yes, You can. Here I am giving some online school which is for free of charges is given below;Online public schools are just like regularly schools in the sense that they:Do not charge tuition feesServe students in grades kindergarten through twelveUse state certified or licensed teachersFollow state requirements for standards and assessmentsResult in a high school diploma upon completionWhere online schooling differs from traditional school is in that:Students receive an individualized education and personalized, one-to-one support.Classes do not take place in a building but rather at home, on the road, or wherever an internet connection can be found.Parents and students communicate with their teacher via online classrooms, email, and phone, (but also sometimes in person). These schools are full time, and follow a traditional school year. You can expect that your child will spend 5 to 6 hours per day on coursework and homework. But students are not always in front of a computer—they also work on offline activities, worksheets, and projects as part of the school day.For Free school you can visit source website: k12

How can I ask my parents to let me be homeschooled, because I am not used to my new school?

I’d ask them “can I be home-schooled because I am no used to my new school?” Simple as that. Discussing with your parents will be the best way to make a good choice. But you question raises more questions for us to ask in order to answer yours correctly:1. Were you home-schooled in the past and then moved to a public school?1.1. If yes, why?1.2 If not, why do you think homeschooling is the answer?2. When did you arrive in this “new school” of yours?2.1: Are you being bullied there?2.2: Are you just scared of the unknown/ other people?3. Do your parents have the financial and/or academic means to either hire someone to teach you at home or for one of them not to work and home-school you?The greatest danger of homeschooling is a lack of contact/socialization with people of your age, which may have bad effects on the creation of your personal identity in the future.Depending on the teacher, it may also lead to severely lacking knowledge in many areas, especially when home-schooling is paired with strong religious beliefs. If you answered yes to question 2.2, homeschooling would put you in a dangerous situation where you have fear of others and where such fear is reinforced by lack of contact and understanding of others. It’s a vicious circleI sincerely hope you discuss this with your parents and make a decision which makes all of you happy and which enables you to grow into a fine adult being one day.

At the age of 16, can I choose to be homeschooled?

Yes, if your guardians are willing and you have a teacher. You can find online programs that you can do without a real live teacher, and your guardians/parents do not have to be involved as much.I would present why you want to be homeschooled, how you will accomplish it and what you will do to get involved in the community to your parents. This will require some research on your area and what is available for homeschoolers. But I would not recommend just refusing to go to school, claiming to be homeschooled without a plan. Education is very important, no matter how you get it, but make the decision based on facts and not on a knee-jerk decision.

How can I convince my parents that I should be homeschooled?

I'm a big introvert. School stresses me out so much. I always come back from school with a terrible mood every single time. I spend my lunch time in the bathroom (i dont eat in there). Group projects are the death of me.

Honestly, I could never be an extrovert. Maybe over a few years, but not now. I tried, but I just can't. I can't bring up conversations, nor can I make friends at school. How can I convince my mom to make me get homeschooled?

Can I be homeschooled in a British school and at the same time go to a German school in Germany?

If you’re homeschooling you’re not in a school. You’re learning is home-based. (Though that doesn’t mean you’re confined to home.)Homeschooling is illegal in Germany.Do you perhaps mean doing an online program through a school? That’s still schooling if you’ll get a diploma from the school. If you’re attending a school, you’re not homeschooling.
