How can I become a professional shower singer?

Stripping comes to mind.
They have showers.
Not sure of any other way.

Becoming a professional singer?

As someone stated before, start with professional singing lessons. Sing in all of the choral groups and singing groups as you can for networking purposes and exposure. Audition for any and every singing opportunity for your age group.

The more you sing in public, the more comfortable you will become in front of the audience. Get that in your psyche.

If you truly want to be a professional singer, you are going to need a strong backbone. Regardless of how talented you are, you will run into rejection, disappointments, and dead ends often. It isn't those who are most talented that make it. It is the ones who are willing to not give up, work hard, and have tough skin. I have run into many talented artists who no longer sing because of they tire of the business. That factor of professional singing is one most will not warn you about. It is not as easy as it looks. BUT if you stick with it, have friends/family to support you, and if you work tirelessly to get what you want you can in fact succeed at it.

As far as American Idol, let me be honest with you. If you don't have a gimmick (or a interesting story behind your life), you could easily be passed up. I read in a professional singer magazine that many incredible singers are passed up because their stories are too boring or that just don't LOOK interesting enough. Before even auditioning, have something to offer BESIDES your gift. Have some popping outfit on or look or come off different from anything they have seen.

I have been a professional singer for some time now, and I am just beginning to see the fruits of my labor. I have seen it all, and ALMOST done it all. But I am no fool. If it don't look right, sound right, or smell right....IT AIN"T RIGHT. Don't be afraid to turn down offers that don't look to benefit your career. Beware of shady execs pretending that if you PAY THEM money, they can get you started. That is a huge lie. If you are good, they will be paying you, not the other way around. With agents, they just take a percentage of what you make. THEY NEVER ask for money up front. So learn the business, network, be wise, and enjoy the ride!!!

How do I become a professional singer in India?

You should start a YouTube channel and give your best performances on that platform. I believe that is the best form to expose yourself in the industry. There are many other ways like auditioning for the reality shows like Saregama Pa, Indian Idol or join some music academies. In short you have to notify the Music Industry that I am available and I deserve the place. This generation of Indian music is all about the exposure and if you’re a born a star kid. I do watch some great singer in these reality shows and they even sing professionally one or two song and they fade away. Music industry runs on the needs of a particular voice. Its not S.P.Balasubramanyam territory anymore. Here is the list of some great people started off with scratch.1.Harshit Saxena had great voice and he had couple of songs. The best was Hale-e-dil in murder-2.2.Vijay Prakash started in Saregama pa when Sonu nigam used to host in 90’s. I used to watch this singer with my father. Vijay is a professional singer and one of the favorite's of the legend A.R.Rehman sir.3. Arjit Singh started his career from the reality show “FAME GURUKUL”. He lost this show but won other show “10 k 10 le gaye dil” and started his own music studio and became assistant for famous composers Shankar-Ehsan-loy , Vishal-shekhar and Mithoon.4. Shreya GhosalBest of luck.

Can I become a professional singer at age 35+?

It really depends on your definition of “professional”. If you mean to earn money by delivering stage performances with musicians then it might be possible. If you are thinking about achieving the singing level of an average professional singer and record your own album, that might be possible too. If you are thinking about playback singing for movies, let me tell you, it is next to impossible, in case you are starting at 35 years of age.See, the main challenge is developing your voice and breath for singing. The younger you start, the better you get. Not only you have a longer time to practise but also your voice is plastic and you can mould it the way you want. So if you already have a sense of tune and pitch, and, you are able to sing the simple songs properly then perhaps you can develop that even now. If possible, get a vocal coach and an instrument to play along. You will develop much faster. But anyway, picking up hardcore Indian classical songs will be very difficult at this age.Don’t waste time reading what others think is possible for you. Get down to work right at this moment. It is going to take time but with diligent practice you certainly will.

Chance at becoming a professional singer?

Well, I'd have to hear you sing and play to really know what your chances are, but as you seem to know, they're not good. That said, go for it. Most successful musicians have lived as bums for a good part of their lives until they finally made it. You just have to give it everything. I, too, just can't find a niche other than music. And if it ends up that I can't perform for a living, then I'm going to get a music engineering degree and try at least to sell my songs. Anyhow, best of luck to ya! :D

How do you become a professional singer? like Ciara, or Rihanna...er whatever...?

Hey,

"Crazy B" is so wrong.
Robyn had a friend who knew music producer Evan Rogers..while he was vacationing in Barbados she went and performed for him and he liked her. So Evan and a man named Carl Sturken, helped Rob record material in the U.S. which was sent to various recording companies. Jay-Z was the first to reply and she went and performed for him and he liked her so much that he wouldn't let her leave until she signed to Def Jam Recordings.

So, you have to have contacts, thats the reality of the situtation. Myspace and that stuff has nearly no chance, do you think Jay-Z sits and goes through MySpace looking for artists? No.

I'm sorry

I hope i helpped

Best wishes. oxoxoxox

Is it possible to become a professional singer from being an ordinary singer by singing karaoke?

I have personally recruited a lead singer from a karaoke night, when she just crushed one of the songs that my band plays. It happens. I wouldn’t say it’s very common, but karaoke will help you achieve certain milestones that would serve you well as a pro:Feeling comfortable singing in front of peopleLearning song structure and keyMicrophone techniqueStage presenceOf course, you can get these attributes other ways, but if you are a regular karaoke singer, it can help. What singing karaoke often will NOT help you with:SongwritingArrangingCarrying a bandDeveloping a “brand” (whatever the hell that means, but it’s apparently important)So beware- it’s far from a recipe to stardom.
