When you hide a Facebook post on your timeline, does your friend who posted it still see the post on your timeline? Or can they see that you hid the post?
They'd have to go to your news feed or if it was on your timeline and hidden then yes, the friend will have the ability to go look on your page to find the post. If someone "likes" the post on your friends page, your hidden post may return. If any changes on the post from any one's post where it was seen can cause the post to return to your page and news feed. It's a glitche or known issue.
I lost my diary and it feels like I lost a great friend. I poured my soul into it, it contains my suicide notes and the comfort I need whenever I'm having a meltdown. How can I deal with this?
Obviously there is no way to replace something that important, but you essentially have two options:You can try to recreate what was lost, which would be really difficult given you cannot remember what exactly happenened each individual day, but you can write a summary of the major milestones.OrYou can take the tragedy as an opportunity in disguise and start anew. While it sometimes feels good to look back at old things, sometimes we end up using those things as crutches. Honestly, looking back at old suicide notes is not healthy. That sounds like a pretty toxic behavior to me. Instead, focus on your growth. Focus on new coping mechanisms and emphasize how you have changed for the positive and write those kinds of things in a new diary. Obviously express yourself and if you are going through pain now, use writing as a cathartic exercise, but re-reading old sentiments about pain and death is just reliving old trauma. I think it’s better to proactively write out how you feel now.
If someone tags me in a comment on Facebook, for example in the comment of a photo of a page, who can see it apart from the people who saw that page photo?

You are asking a question that many fb users ask. I have been on both sides. First i’ m assuming you have ended your relationship and you a want no contact with this person. If you are still communicating with them at all then it may be they’re jerking your chain. In this case jerk theirs and make them wonder just like you did. But remember there are some users out there with many tricks to find out and travel inside fb wherever they choose stealing our photos, notes, documents and practically anything they want. Don’t be fooled by someone that says they’re not too good with advanced fb procedures. That was my mistake I fell for it and believed her. You can block new accounts but you have to know the name on it. Fake profiles can be made from your phone just log out of fb and then create a new fb account. The name can be just slightly different by one letter that way ppl can figure out it’s you fairly easy. You will have to use another email address and or phone number but make sure one is easily accessible because fb will want to send a confirmation code to which ever one you choose. I heard but I have never tried you can use the same name but pick a different email phone number or simply replacing profile picture. Now you can drift through fb and check out ppl who have blocked you. The only thing to remember is if someone chooses to only let their friends see their activities and posts you won’t be able to see them unless you are put on their friends list. aanother tip is to try to become friends with one of theirs but be careful and request someone that probably is one of those they accepted late one night and never heard from since. Once they accept your request then you will have more access to there posts but still may not have full access
If I share something on Facebook and delete it immediately, will my friends see it as notification?
Only if they happen to be on FB in the moment you post it…They may (if they click on the notification before you delete it) even see what it was you shared. They can even share the item itself (if happen to do so before you delete it)But if they refresh the page… click away and click back - it will be gone (because it was deleted (as in gone). They won’t be able to share it if you happen to delete it before they click share.

My sister is,too. They keep trying to be my friend so they can nose through my messages. I've had some conversations with my cousin about how to block them. That would involve blocking my whole family. I can't do that. My cousins and brother in law are the only people I got to talk to. My mom and sister are forcing me to make them my friends. How do I deal with my psycho ex-boyfriend?
Hello. I am college student. I broke up with my boyfriend of a year about one and a half months ago. Ever since I showed interest in another guy (he found out by stalking my facebook), he's been calling, texting, and IMing me daily. Sometimes I get over 20 texts and missed calls a day. At one point he even threatened to destroy my life and practically kill me if I didn't get back together with him. Now him and his friends try to call/contact me. He also lives in another country so I don't really have to deal with him face to face. It's just the annoying calls and texts. But is there anything that I can do to make him stop? I have been ignoring him completely ever since he threatened me around a week ago. He also tries to contact my friends, and it has really been bothering them. Do you think he will eventually give up and move on, and when? I'm not gonna lie, he's obsessed with me. I have told him multiple times it isn't going to work already.
