They might not call back at all, but if they do, it most likely won't be longer than a month. Every store is different though, and they will only call you if they want to set up an interview.

I gues you had your question answered. It seems like yes, they do have them at safeway. But, to clear up one thing you said about nail salons 'never' cleaning their tools? In most - if not ALL states, it is mandated by law that implements which come in contact with the skin, or the nails be properly disinfected. Nail files and sanding bands which can not be disinfected due to the materials they are made out of need to be discarded after each client, and new ones used every times a client sits down at your table. Reputable, high end techs/salons follow these laws, and others with regards to sanitation and disinfection. It is most often the discount salons that do not follow the laws and yes, those plases will use dirty implements and used files on you more often than not. A 'discount' salon is typically a salon that charges $25 or less for a full set of acrylics. Avoid the cheap places, and you will usually avoid these problems - not always, but most often. So, please don't include nail professionals like myself in with these chop shops by saying they 'never' clean their tools. That is simply not true. Just FYI.

Does Safeway drug test new hires?
Yes, but it is a mouth swab so if you brush your teeth daily it'll be no problem. And then there was never any follow up or random testing.
Had a no call no show?
I work for Safeway and accidentally did a no call no show for work. Usually I have Sun marked as unavailable so I don't even look at that day. I just look at Mon-Fri. Turns out I was supposed to work Sun (they spring it on me... Idiots!) and I NEVER Answer my phone on the weekends I it's from my job. So I ignored the call. Now my question is? Will I get written up or get a verbal for this first offense ? Additional info: I have other write ups still in effect but that's for a different thing and irrelevant.

How should I handle my Safeway lawsuit, should I sue employees that pointed me out for theft or should I sue Safeway for their employees accusing me wrongfully (surveillance proved me innocent but I went to jail)?

Come to find out he was mistaken but the next 20 times he thought he saw someone stealing something he was right. SO sueing him won’t gain you anything.But if you name him in the suit then it pulls out that they accused you. But an attorney might say that it’s the company you have the suit against and pulling in the employee takes the responsibility off them and onto him.So call an attorney and go sit down to talk about this. They’ll know if you have grounds or not.
