How Can I Connect To These Dota 2 Servers

Should an Indian girl play Dota 2 on Indian servers?

This is a very good question and even though I am a guy, I can understand the situations you would be faced with on Indian servers, or SEA for that matter.Unfortunately, girls will have a difficult time in DotA, not because of your gameplay levels, I am absolutely sure that gender has no role in the skill level in a video game, it’s because of the way guys would react, once they know your gender.A good way to deal with this is to not use the team mic. That is truly the only way someone knows your gender, and avoid it. While the game is toxic for any new players, it can be even more to girls. If you are playing with a party, then the game gets significantly easier, and DotA is more fun with friends anyways. Finally, if you are having a bad because of the creepy language, remember you can always mute them. Be liberal with your mutes, one raging asshole is all that is needed to destroy the next hour of your life, but luckily unlike in real life, you can just mute them whenever you want. And finally, DotA players have a women only group to help girls have fun without the creepy experience, if you are a sensitive person, then this could definitely help.DesoladiesHave fun,GG.

How do I dodge Pinoy players in DotA 2 SEA server?

Now I'm not a Pinoy (Vietnamese here), and I play on US servers, but when I do go back to my country I've had my fair share of Pinoys.I was lucky that I actually get to know some really agreeable Pinoy players (friend listed whoop whoop), but seriously, the only way is to either 1)pray to whatever god you have or 2)avoid Pinoy late afternoon. Check their time zone, that's what me and my friends do.You can't escape my friend. Putang ina mo on your cow.

Is my 512kbps internet connection enough for playing Dota 2 and LoL?

I would say this is just on the border line. This is surely not enough to play dota 2. But if you are using this connection just for the game nothing else and you play in your own region then it is fine, Otherwise I would suggest you to go for a connection at least 2 mbps. That would be enough. Also make connection free when you play online. Means stop all downloads and play on wired connection. You can easily play in Dubai and SEA region. If you still experience lag and high ping even in you own region that just means that your ISP is routing you from a path which have high traffic rush so make your data transfer rate slow. In that case you can try Kill Ping. Watch the video to witness what it actually do and how it improves gameplay.

How soon will Dota 2 come to xbox, once keyboard and mouse support is announced?

Porting games over from different platforms is a much more harder process than people imagine. In the case of Dota 2, the servers are owned by Valve themselves. If Dota 2 is to be a game on the Xbox or PS, it needs to use Xbox Live Servers or Playstation Network. With the huge number of people playing Dota 2, Valve will not want to let players move from their servers to another competitors. Also GabeN, the CEO of Valve himself is not a fan of Console gaming.Hence I really doubt that Dota 2 will be announced anytime soon for Xbox

What will happen to dota when dota 2 comes out?

DotA will die out, but only very gradually. Dota 2 will be in the beta version for a long time, which means a lot of tweaks will occur over time and we will only have limited servers in the beginning. So not all DotA players will shift immediately. Because of the few servers, players (with an average or sub-average internet connection) from countries which do not have a server close might be forced to continue with DotA for some more time. Also, a lot of people will find their computers' configurations weak to play Dota 2. But over time, inevitably, Dota 2 will take over completely, and DotA will just be "ancient".IceFrog will continue to update maps for both DotA and Dota 2 for a few years.

Which ISP is best to play dota 2 in Chennai with low ping?

There are many FiberNet ISPs in Chennai, including ACT fibernet, Hathway, Cherrinet, we internet, Netfire, tikona, Arasu Fibre, You Broadband and some mainstream ISPs like Airtel, Reliance, etc.All of these provide wide range of plans from unlimited data usage in lower speeds to limited data in higher speeds.Talking about pings, Hathway and ACT Fibernet are providing the best pings I've seen and are used by some of the internet Café, I'll rather get limited data and higher speed with good pings than lower speeds.Currently using ACT Fibernet where I get pings around 10–20 India, 20–40 SEA, 20–40 Dubai in Dota 2 servers (while using WiFi).I'm not publicizing any network provider but try only the Fibernet plans instead of general Broadband ISPs.Hope this helps.Happy Gaming!
