How Can I Convice My Parents To Let Me Buy This Backpack

How do I convince my parents to let me go backpacking?

It is hard to answer without knowing their reservations.  Could you take a friend? Show them a plan of your travels. Reassure them it will not harm your career. Offer to do something in return. Perhaps include a visit to some relatives or place where a relative died. Establish smooth communication by Skype. Buy them something nice. Ask another relative to back you up.

How can I convince my parents to let me have a regular backpack?

It seems like the best way to do this is to get the doctor on your side. If the doctor believes that a regular backpack won’t worsen your scoliosis then your mother is likely to allow you to have one.If, on the other hand, the doctor agrees with your mom, then you’re probably out of luck.

How can I convince my parents to buy me a Vera Bradley backpack?

I've been asking for this Vera Bradley backpack for about a month. Its $88.00

(you do not need to read the next part but if you want 10 POINTS for being the best answer you should read it)

It first started when I asked my mom to buy it for me at this store and she said maybe. About a few weeks later we went to a different store and it was there and I said I would pay for half of it. Then she said not today. Then about a few days later we went to another mall with the same store in it and I asked again and I offered to pay for ALL OF IT WITH MY OWN MONEY.

She said no. Then about 3 days later we went back to the first mall and I asked her and she said to ask my dad so I went over to the store he was in and asked him and he said "88 dollars?! for a backpack?! no."

Thank you reading but i still do not understand if i was going to pay for all of it with my own money why can't i get it?!

How can I convince my parents to let me backpack across Europe?

Out of interest, what is their reasoning as to why you shouldn't go?Also, how long do you plan on going for?The backpacking itself won't be too hard as most of Europe is super easy to get around (I'm currently writing this from Italy on my second trip through Europe) - however being at least 18 years old, having a few basic life skills and having a decent amount of cash in the bank will make the experience a bit better.Booking flights, hostels, buying drinks, going to bars/festivals and many adventure/tourist activities will be harder to sort if you are under 18 in some locations (definitely not all) - so you may not get the full experience - not to mention you will be the 'kids' in the hostels when it comes to socialising with other people (although attitude is more important than age).As for convincing your parents - I don't know what they are like or what their views are - I would probably approach it by describing it as a short stint away to experience a different way of life, broaden your views and make sure that enlisting is what you actually want to do with your life, gap year, adventure, etc etc. If you've proved yourself to be terrible with money, lack responsibility or any form of common sense then they may be justified in their concerns!! ahahaAt the end of the day if you've got your own passport, have cash in the bank that you've earned through your own work and bought a plane ticket then there isn't too much they can do - just tell them the date you leave and let them come to terms with it. You may be young, but plenty of young people already residing in the EU do similar trips during school breaks.

How do I convince my parents that I am ready to go backpacking by myself?

Be responsible towards yourself, them and around the house for a week.See their attitude towards you change. Show them you're sane and responsible and won't be messing around too much. Take nice bright, pristine shiny decisions to impress them!

How do you convince your mom to let you get a backpack?

Try to ask your mom for a new backpack nicely of course explaining the rolling backpacks are kicked around in school and other students are tripping over the rolling backpack. If not try to earn extra money around the house to buy a new backpack yourself. In the meantime, if your rolling backpack has straps take them out and hook them on the loops on your bag if your mother doesn't allow you to get a new backpack.

How can I convince my parents to let me buy a Vera Bradley Bookbag?

Despite what you may think about these bags and how perhaps you think I want one cause everyone has one I would still like help with this question, and I would like to state that I do not love these bags and the reason I want one does not have to do with the fact that everyone has one but with the fact that out of all the bags Vera Bradley has I actually do like the backpack ones. While I know my parents are against me buying things that aren't what they call reasonable prices ( Once again, despite your opinions on quality or whatever my parents don't find it prudent to spend 80 dollars on a backpack) so I know for a fact I will not be able to buy one online or from the actual stores. I found one on Craiglist that's sold for 30 and it's in a color I like and if you know how Craiglists works this bag is within reasonable distance from my home. My grandma is leaving saturday and the airport and the location of this bag is basically in the same place. Should I ask my parents to make a stop at this place to purchase the bag? Since they wouldn't be going to out of their way? Or do you think perhaps they might feel upset if they see that the reason we stopped is to buy a designer bag? I should clarify that I have a perfectly functioning backpack ( that cannot be used as an excuse << My Backpack is a Jansport which cost a similar price as this bag) and the only reason I want this is because they look cute and it looks a lot more comfortable then my backpack. I know I could live without the bag, so I guess my question is, should I bother asking my parents for it? If you were a parent and your kid asked you to stop to buy this bag? Would you be upset? I guess I should also clarify that I would be buying the bag with my birthday money.

How to convince my mom to buy me a new backpack for the school year?

I really, really, really need a new backpack for the 8th grade. My mom is saying we're tight on money right now, and won't even let me buy my own backpack with my money. All I want is a jansport, and the one i want is only $28. I would use an old backpack, but my one from last year is lost, and my one from the year before that i accidentally left an old apple in it, so it smells disgusting, and the backpack from the year before that was my 5th grade backpack and it has pink neon peace signs and hearts all over it. It is the ugliest, most bright eye-burning thing alive. And the year before that, in 4th grade, I drew all over my backpack, so it has ridiculous amounts of sharpie on it. 3rd grade was a barbie backpack. The people at my school are kind of snobs, so if i show up with the 5th grade backpack, they will make fun of me in sooo many ways. I just want a plain purple jansport and i will keep this one until it breaks (which will be like 5 years. lol). How do I convince my mom to buy it for me (or let me buy it)? I already mentioned the amazing discount price, the fact that I will pay for it if I have to, the fact that i'll keep it until it breaks, and the fact that I don't have anything else i can use (even though she claims my 5th grade backpack is "just fine".)

Most people in my junior high have cool backpacks, unlike me. My mom said she would get me a new one once its ruined, but I didnt tell her that I dont like the design. I kinda put little holes in it were my binder is at, since its really sharp. I also undid a few seams on the strap and the bottom of the bag, but she hasent looked at it yet.
