We always talk on MSN and he's in my Geography and Stats class. He very obviously flirts with me and I'm honestly flattered. Thanks for the A2A ...I am afraid that I may not be able to answer your question to the best because you haven't mentioned things like weather you are teaching english as a subject or as a language or you are teaching it to kids or grown ups ..!..anyhow my advice would be to-• Make your student look at english like a language...! most people who cannot speak english and are willing to learn it have a bindblock that english is something from the other world ..! so its ur task to make them look it as a language just like their mother toungue and that you can do by interacting and talking to them normally in english but make sure your english should be at their level not yours otherwise you will leave them perplexed...!..• CARD TRICK - ask your students to write down ten words at a card with their meanings written on the backside .! and take the card with them and keep looking at the words whenever they get time in the day...! at the end of 10 days ask them to recall as many words as they can with meanings this will improve the vocabulary largely..!.•understand the level of your students and according to that make him read books..! reading has no substitute when it comes to learning english...! reading will set a tone in his mind how sentences are formed; how new sentences are began; and prepositions etc..!.•stay possitive - the procees is gradual and will take time so stay motivated and possitive
