Proof that Jesus existed?
Christians, can you please provide me with historical proof Jesus existed besides the Bible? I know the New testament states Jesus existed, but please what other out side source can I look at to see if Jesus really existed. Is there any thing written down on him by someone else besides paul and john or other biblical christian writters.
Why does the History channel make the hippies look like champions?
The people that made the show are the ex hippies. It was a beautiful time shall we all sing for Hope, Change, and a hand out. He forgot the 1.1 million boat people that drowned at sea trying to escape the Communists. the 1.5 million that made it to have to start life over with nothing. Then there was the also 375,000 Montingard tribes people, our allies,that were hunted down and slaughtered in the Mountains. Peace Brother.

Do you have proof that Christmas is a pagan holiday?
The proof is kind of in the pudding, if you step back and study Christian history. First of all, there are three components in Christmas: the first is the religious component important to Christianity, which many Christians sadly have forgotten about. This is the celebration of the birth of Jesus; Christ's TRUE birthdate is unknown, as it was never recorded, and so we have come to celebrate it in late December. ((The Bible itself hints that Christ was born in spring, likely closer to Easter, through its description of areas and events near the time of the birth of Christ.)) The second component, which is what many people refer to when they say that Christmas is actually a PAGAN holiday, is many of the adopted non-Jesus-related rituals of Christmas. When Christianity was very, very young, another holiday took place during the winter solstice called Saturnalia. Saturnalia is where we get our tradition of decorating trees, feasting, and wistful thinking of tiny little working elves. Atheists spit at Christians by saying Christmas is a Pagan holiday, without acknowledging that we merely adopted it and have made it unique for our own celebrations (none of us actually celebrate Saturnalia). At the same time, Christians do not understand that not everything in Christmas is "original", and so make blanket statements that EVERYTHING in Christmas belongs to Christianity.
So where is god? What does god look like? If it exists... can I see him/her/it?
