How Can I Find Words And Thoughts In A Paragraph

How many paragraphs is 1250 words, roughly???

The rule of thumb is that one page is about 250 words (typed, double-spaced) -- there is no equivalent rule of thumb regarding paragraphs, as two paragraphs can vary greatly in length and each be absolutely "correctly" structured.

A paper of 1,250 words is roughly 5 paged (typed, double-spaced). How many paragraphs that is, is up to you.

How many paragraphs are there in 200-300 words?

It depends on your readership. When I was a newspaper reporter (and we still used typewriters in the newsroom) I was told to try avoiding writing a paragraph covering more than four lines. It’s true, this makes a much more easily readable text, as compared, say, to a page of text without any paragraph breaks. But, if you’re writing something scholarly, like a theme or a dissertation, you will probably want to continue the paragraph to complete a particular thought. So, it depends on how readable you want your 200–300 words to be, and who your readership may be. BTW, hardcover books tend to put about 450 words on a page. And without paragraphs, it gets to be rather tough slogging.

Can you make a whole paragraph of more than 100 words without the letter 'a'?

Let us try.“…I woke up, smiling; which is different from the time when I continued young but feeling lively for life, consuming time plus infirmities of life; not the sunshine in itself but the hours which comprised therein which in due course suppositions to such sinful thoughts in my mind mixed with strong emotions of guilt; dishonor yet being content on the effects of using the time without doing much besides being occupied in deep thoughts wherein I pondered on how I could devour the time besides the hours; comprised but in effect, rendering myself completely feeble to truly done something worthwhile which puzzlingly zeniths to immense sense of guiltiness which though not evil but puts my sentiment out of dwelling since I desired to become someone inherently better in oddity with the coming tomorrow besides contributing to my destiny through remorse which though quite gloomy, but the effect of it in itself continued, since it predetermined countless hours which I could opportunely idle by the side of luxury besides guilt.”169 words with no ‘a’.This is called British Victorian style of writing wherein you propound a thought; then expound on it and then come back to the basic proposition; here for example a man thinking how he has wasted his life when he was young, not doing anything but idling the hours away which gives him a pang of guilt but having made him happy that he did manage to do “nothing”. One can write a full novel of 10,000 words without an ‘a’.

In a 150 word essay how many paragraphs are there?

Most likely you won't exceed one page for a maximum of 300 words.
But as far as paragraph lengths go, it really depends on the topic and what you want to say. Mostly it involves what you are trying to convey on the subject matter. And structure is the key to how many paragraphs.
For instance, to start off a 150-300 word response you might start off by introducing the topic and a quick summary of your opinion or statement you wish to disclose; that's the first paragraph.
Secondly, you'll go on to your second paragraph going into more details that support your statement/opinion. You'll provide background information and expand your thoughts.
Thirdly, to tell when you should start a new paragraph is when you have an entirely new thought. Each paragraph may have several examples of what you are explaining, but if you must add something that is somewhat off-topic or regarded as additional information that isn't the key element to support your statement/opinion... Then another paragraph will help keep the thoughts organized and concise.
It also good to try and aim for "hooks" to start your new paragraph. When you end one paragraph, leave it open to start the new paragraph. Much like movies and books with their sequels.
And, lastly, your final paragraph will contain the overall summary of what you have just said, but phrased differently. You really need to sell what you have just said, so say something very supportive of why you chose the thoughts/opinions you have.
A good paragraph is a simple paragraph. Keep each paragraph to the least amount of ideas, thoughts, or supportive information you can. Run-on sentences can hinder the overall message you are trying to send. If it makes sense when you read it to yourself, under your breath, then it's good to move on to the next paragraph.
I hope that helps. That's what I learned about paragraphs, anyway.

As far as sentence count, 2-3 is a decent minimum. But sometimes, if the thought is clear enough, then all you need is 2-3 for that paragraph. Teachers have their methods for counting words per sentence per paragraph. Omitting words less than two syllables is a common technique.

How many paragraphs should an 1,800 word essay be?

Depending on your skill level, an essay paragraph should range from 125-200 words, and should all be roughly the same size. So yes, I would say between 9 and 11 paragraphs would be suitable ;) Unless you need to decide before hand on your exact number of paragraphs, I would just write it and see how many you end up with, don't worry so much about it, but thats just me! :)
