How Can I Get Help Paying Off A College Bill So I Can Resumed My Schooling

How does the Army pay for college?

If you go to college after the military, yes it will be mostly if not all paid for. If you go to college before the military. No they will not be paying for your college. Unless you can find a way to get student loan repayment, but that;s not happening much anymore.

Should you join the military before or after college?

Oh boy… Someone with more time will probably write a beautiful answer to this question, but I’ll give you the short version.Going after: You have the opportunity to pursue a commission as an officer, which is a ton of work and responsibility but basically makes the whole experience better in almost every way, including pay and career prospects for after the military. If you don’t choose that path you still get automatic promotion to E-4 with a college degree, which means more pay and opportunity. You can also have the military pay off your college loans in some cases and still be eligible for the post 9/11 GI bill if you serve more than 3 years (These programs change and your mileage may very).Going before: You get the “full experience” and the camaraderie of being a Joe. If you don’t choose to go career, you basically get it out of the way. After you’ve been through military training and an enlistment, college will seem crazy easy. You won’t have to worry about loans at any point (assuming the post 9/11 stays around). You will also most likely have a better pick of schools, since most colleges are pretty good about letting veterans in. You would also have the option to go to college and do ROTC knowing a lot more about the military if you did want to commission. It would be an informed choice. For the record, I went in after and commissioned. The level of responsibility that you have thrust on you in that situation is unlike anything you will get in the private sector or anywhere else. If that’s what you’re looking for, I highly recommend it. Good luck.

College before or after Marines?

Being an officer in the military is a good thing to have on your resume.

Some people would enjoy being an officer and some people would like the experience of being an enlisted Marine.

If you decide you want to be an officer you can get a scholarship through NROTC or tuition assistance along with the PLC program. Go to marine officers.com for all the options.

If you prefer enlisted, there are several programs. You can take classes at local universities if your schedule permits. The Marine Corps will help you get your admission tests, pay your tuition, and relieve you of extra duty while attending college courses. You can take courses online and they will pay for them. You get extra credit for the courses in your promotion scores so you can advance in rank faster if you take college courses.

There is a program called MECEP for enlisted personnel. You have to be an outstanding Marine. You are paid your regular pay, housing, and food while you go to college. The kicker is you must serve as a Marine officer after you get your degree. This isn't really for someone who doesn't want to make a career of the military.

For most people who don't want a military career, I would say enlist, take what college courses you can while enlisted and finish your degree with the help of the GI Bill after you get out.

If you want o be an officer, get the NROTC scholarship or go through PLC and serve your time as an officer after you have your degree.

Becoming a stripper to pay for college?

So I am not 18 yet but I getting ready to apply for colleges soon. I live in Florida and have straight A's and I'm very bright and blessed to have the option to go to a university. My only issue is that the cost of living is expensive, I want to be independent unlike my brother and sister who both eat up my mom's savings. On top of that my mom is being sued for things that happened to my dad, seeing as how my dad is dead lawyers have nothing to go after except my mom. My dream school is University of Manoa in Hawaii, however paradise is expensive and I know I would not be able to afford it on my current savings and minimum wage job. I'm going to community college through duel enrollment right now to get my A.A. and it is practically free but I know going to a University is totally different. I am very athletic and I surf in my spare time as much as possible. I have a good figure beach blonde, 34B, 5' 6, dazzling long legs, and I am very skinny. Guys always are into me for my looks so I imagine there wouldn't be a problem and I can dance, however I would still need to gain some experience on a poll. How much can you make as a stripper if you worked at average clubs? Could you pay your rent, tuition, food, gas, and insurance on it? How hard is it to get hired? What are some tips for working in that sort of industry? Could I do it when I turn 18 to get through college?
