Can you now agree with Nietzsche who wrote: "Only sick music makes money today"?

Well you have to understand what Nietzsche means by sick music and he meant music that emphasizes feeble, life denying ideas.
As a point of contrast take Greek tragedy. Nietzsche would call this entertainment for the strong because even after the most awful, unthinkable thing has happened (you killed your father and married your mother) one leaves a Greek tragedy feeling uplifted with the feeling that life is worth living no matter what awful things happen.
Sick entertainment, by contrast does the opposite. It dwells on sin, misery and human weakness and the audience leaves tired of life itself.
The reason Nietzsche said "only sick music makes money today" is because Europe had been rendered hopelessly sick itself (mostly due to alcohol and Christianity) and therefore has no stomach for strong, life-affirming entertainment.

It's a little harder to say now about whether this would still hold true today because of the wide variety of musical genres available. Back then people perhaps had less choice and you probably listened to music more from your own country than other places so that if your homeland were in a funk, you would almost have to share in it.

I suppose these days it would depend on what the individual chooses to listen to and whether their choices exalt them or grind them down, make them want to live or die.

Disneyland opened in 1955 after having cost about $17 million.According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Consumer Price Index inflation calculator, that amount of money in 1955 is equivalent to about $157.2 million. That may not be fully equivalent, of course: technological advances have caused theme park costs to skyrocket. Disney spent about $600 million building the Disney California Adventure Park to poor reviews, then invested an additional $1.1 billion starting 6 years after its opening to reinvent it.

How is love of money evident in today's society?

Not so much money but the need to acquire material possessions. One example, the MTV Cribs show. It shows the young generation all the material things they must have in order to live the "good life" without showing them all the hard work it takes to get there. Now everyone wants to wear brand name clothes, brand name shoes, carry brand name purses and yet have no savings accounts.

Its quite simple....its due to the time value of money effect and purchasing power which is directly related to inflation. Now suppose you buy a house or anything you can assume with (X) amount its quite normal to assume the house value will increase by time or you can say the cost of buying or building the same house after 1-2 years will be more because of inflation effect. It means with the same amount you spent on your house in past, you cant build your future house .Thus your money lying with you today has more purchasing power than in future. Also if i make it more simple you can say if you wish to buy apples for 10 Rupees you may have 5 apples but in future with the same amount you may end up having 3-4 apples.

If you mean how do they physically print the money, that’s an interesting question.Actually, there are a couple of companies that specialize in this business: U.K.’s De La Rue, France’s Oberthur Fiduciaire, Germany’s Giesecke & Devrient and the Canadian Bank Note Company. As you can imagine, printing money is a very specialized business. You need extraordinary engraving skills, access to specialized paper, and extremely high security. There can be no “shrinkage” in your production! But if you just mean how does a country increase its money supply, generally speaking the Treasury sells bonds, which the central bank then buys. The central bank then credits the government’s bank account with the money, and there you are! Instant money! As for what the currency is backed with, it’s backed with the full faith & credit of the government. Nothing more. The central bank has an asset (the Treasury bond) and a liability (the government’s account, or the cash if the government chooses to take the money out in cash). As long as people believe that the central banks’ asset is worth something, they should also believe that its liabilities are too.

I believe the big bet is on integrating purchases more directly into the experience and driving sales that way (similar to what Fancy has done). See this interview with the CEO of Rakuten, who recently invested $100M - http://techcrunch.com/2012/05/17....So once you pinned the image of that lovely knitted sweater or that amazing wedding dress, you could get a bunch of offers (maybe by email) to purchase them, with a nice discount attached. Or maybe it builds a profile of your shopping behavior and recommends products to you.My personal prediction is that they will end up relying on ads (sponsored content/profiles if you will) a few years down the road once there is more pressure to make money. With this much investment, they have to get as big as possible, and advertising is still the best global system if your business model revolves around helping others make sales. But we shall see, the Internet is full of surprises.
