About 10years ago I signed up for the Internet thru "prodigy.net". I created an email thru their service and everything was fine. After a few years I left Prodigy.net for better internet deals and faster service. Recently I am getting messages from friends saying that they are receiving spam from the old email address so I believe it has been hacked or something. I wanted to contact Prodigy to either have them delete the email address or allow me to re-enter it and change the password and delete the contacts. I seached for Prodigy.net and I could not find it anywhere on the internet. When I searched for it the only internet address I get is "http://att.my.yahoo.com/". Any ideas on how I can fix this?

The best thing I could suggest, sweetheart, is to just create a new account...and just let that one die out. That's what I've had to do. Besides, even if you could delete the account, what would it matter if it was "active" or "deleted"....you wouldn't be using it anyway due to the email address all of your "spammers" have. So, just create a new account, and write an email to all of your contacts to let them know what it is.
