How can I get my old job back?
At the end of the summer I put my 2 weeks in at my job as I was planning on leaving for college. I had a traumatic experience at the school and now i am home and decided to go to community college for a year. I was thinking of going and trying to get my job back as they know I was planning on returning for school breaks. I am sort of scared what people will thing and don't know how to approach this. Does anyone have any advice?

I recently quit my summer job at Starbucks two weeks ago and haven't found another job yet. I am certain that if i call my old summer job from last year(its just a regular store, souveniers/shirts/toys) that they will rehire me. But i just don't know how to ask?
Letter to get my job back...?
I worked at a company for 2 years and I got a great recommendation when I left, but had to quit due to conflicts with my work and school schedule. Now that I'm close to graduating college I need another job for the next two semesters. They are currently hiring but they now have a new policy which states they won't rehire past employees. I talked to the HR director and plant manager and they said they would like to have my back and I can get past the company policy pretty easily since I have a clean record. I just have to write a letter to the president of the company in another state. This is where I need help, what am I supposed to say in this letter? "Dear Blah, I worked for your company before and enjoyed it, hire me back. The End" I mean there's not much to say.
How do I get my job back at Walmart?
I just got let go from my job about a week ago, and I made an appointment with the store manager this week. I'm so nervous and don't know what to say. I really want my job, and I don't wanna screw it up. I worked at Walmart and their point system is they let you go if you get 4 points before your 6 month I'm on my 5th, I honestly thought I had 3 and a half. So Is there anything I can say that'll convince her to re hire me. Would crying a little help? Please, honest answers

Hello: Please help, I talked to my old boss 3 months ago and he said that he was thinking to open a position for me and he asked me to send him my resume. I did it and I haven't heard back from him. I would like to send him a message asking how things are going and if there is any change to have my old job back or other position. I resigned to that company 2 years ago to pursue my Master in a foreign country, my old boss approved a sabbatical but HR didn't, so, I had to resign. My old boss was sad because he knows that I am a good asset for the company. I am living in the US now (I used to work for that company in Colombia), my old boss lives in the US and it is an American Company. I am a US resident. Any advice? I don't know how to ask him. Your advice will be greatly appreciated.
My boss fired me. Can I get my job back?
I've been at this construction business for 17 years and I recently got a new boss. My old boss and I got along great and work went really well. This boss is really uptight and strict, so I wanted to make him laugh and break the ice so work went better, so we would develop aa good working relationship. Me and ten other guys were getting ready to clock in and then leave for our assignments, then our boss walked in. Everyone sort of went quiet, so I decided to try an break the ice. I said, "good morning, sir", but he ignored me. So I thought I would try and make him laugh. So I started humping the water cooler and grunting (like I was having sex) and as I was humping, I go, "Hey, Sir, your wife showed me this move last night". The guys burst into laughter. Then I lifted my leg and I farted really loud (and it smelled awful)....I said, "Your wife is a mean cook!". The guys laughed really hard. Unfortunately, my boss didn't find it funny. He fired me. I tried to explain to him I was joking, but he didn't listen to me. I've been a loyal employee for 17 years. I never called in sick or was late, and boom, I'm fired. Can I get my job back?
Should I ask for my old job back after quitting?
If you left on good terms, you can certainly ask. I was involved in a situation recently where a person gave notice, took the new job and within two weeks realized it was not what was expected. The person came back to the previous employer and was able to be rehired after going through some paperwork hassles.There is no guarantee but the downside is only that you are told the answer is no. The real risk is that the company allows you to return and you want to quit again. So before you ask, I would be certain that you want to go back and that the thing(s) that made you leave will not occur this time around or that you can deal with whatever the circumstances are.
