How Can I Get My Phone To Work Again

My phone got wet and touch is not working. What should I do?

Below are some of the tips you should follow when your phone gets wet.Switch the phone off. Once you take out the phone, switch it off. This is very important to prevent short circuits within the phone body. Remove the batteries carefully and let it dry.Remove the SD Cardand the SIM Card.Lightly Dry Off Your Water Damaged Phone and Accessories. Use a completely dry cloth to lightly dab the wet phone and all the components you took out. Do not wipe. This will just cause the water to spread around. Also, don’t use a hair dryer to dry the phone. This may damage the internal components.Put Your Water Damaged Cell Phone in Rice for Three Days. The rice will absorb the liquid from the phone and will also dry it more quickly. Just make sure to use dry rice and feel free to put it in to a Ziploc bag or container.Once you’ve waited three days for your phone to dry put it back together and try to turn it on. If it doesn’t work then try replacing the battery. If that doesn’t work take it to the store and see if there is anything else you can do.

I dropped my cell phone in my pool will it ever work again?

The best thing to do is not to try and turn it on! You will fry the system. I've worked in the cell phone industry for a while and the best thing to do for your phone is to remove the battery and SIM card if you have one. Get a large baggie of white rice. put all the pieces in the bag for 12 hours if the rice is getting soggy change it out and start with fresh rice. Do this for about 24-48 hours the rice will pull the moisture out of your phone and the battery. Wait at least 24 hours to try and turn it on tho.

How do I get my iPhone speakers (internal) to work again after having water damage?

Yesterday around noon I had my iPhone 4S in my purse....along with a Gatorade. Well as it turns out the Gatorade lid was not on right , so it spilled all throughout my purse potentially reaching my phone. It was about a max of 3 minutes before I realized what had happened and I immediately took my phone out and dried it off. I put it in my pocket and then maybe 5-10 minutes later I got to my friends house and began emptying my bag out and drying everything off. As I was doing that, my friend asked to use my phone. I took it out and then I saw it, the LED flash was on. Having previously gotten an iPhone wet, I knew instantly that this was a signal for water damage. I immediately put it in a sealed container of rice. I didn't turn it off immediately and i was hesitant to touch any buttons since turning if on and off with my previous phone was what shot it). **keep in mind this phone is a replacement for my last damaged iPhone that I received from my insurance company; this meaning my current [wet] iPhone was once someone else's. that someone else broke it and sent it in to the insurance company then revived a replacement. The insurance company then refurbished this one and it was then sent to me** with that, I had very low hopes that the phone was going to work. About 27 hours later, I took it out of the rice and began charging it. It was working. I was utterly happy. It turned on and was glitching some. After several minutes, the glitching began to subside and the phone is now operating quite smoothly. The only downfall I didn't realize until an hour after I turned it on: the speakers don't work. Headphones work fine but when unplugged, the music continues playing as if they weren't which is opposite of what a normal iPhone should do. My phone won't ring or make any noise without headphones. My phone is my alarm. So I need this function. Anyone think they can help??

My iphone says it's charging but it's not?

So my iphone says that it's charging but the battery percentage keeps going down. It was working fine but it started doing this this morning, I got it to work again and it stopped again. I did the hard reset and regular reset, should I just reset my entire phone. I dont have an apple plan or my phone service isnt with apple so I really can't get help from them. Someone pls tell me sone good news, I have somewhere to go and my phone is my only alarm

Microwave stopped working, then started working again, why?

I microwaved some food for about 7 minutes, I came to check on it a few minutes later, the food was hot but I noticed the light was off in the microwave and the digital display wasn't working. I didn't really think about it and went and ate my food. Came back and realized the microwave wasn't working at all. The buttons wouldn't work and the light and digital display wouldn't come on. So I moved it to another outlet to see if the outlet was the problem, and the microwave still didn't work. So I thought, okay, I'll throw it out when the trash comes on Monday. I come back 40 minutes later, and just for kicks, tried plugging it back in. And now it works, lights up, and heats food?!?!?!

Can someone explain to me why it did this? We've had the microwave for a few years now and it has experienced a good amount of use. I'm okay with having to throw it out if it is dying, but I'm just curious as to why it would suddenly stop working and then start working perfectly after 40 minutes. I'm curious as to the mechanism as to why it did this.

Thanks a bunch

Webkinz-Phone and Tournament not working!?

Same with me. I tried 8 times, believe it or not, and still says "could not connect server". It's getting very annoying, and I need some money for my pets because the tournament games are so fun and easy to play, plus you get more money. I have searched here, google, and yahoo to find an answer, but nothing has popped up.

What should you do when you drop your phone in water?

Yesterday my mobile (Moto G2 ) fell into full bucket of hot water. This question aroused after this happened to me and now I’m writing this answer through my mobile only! (which is working in same condition it was before ) . so how did happened !!. So ,if your mobile fall into water , first thing first , immediately switch it off .if you can take its battery out, so do so ,otherwise in my case , I wasn’t able to take the battery out so switch it off immediately as the water penetrated into the phone can short-circuit the component if the phone is on and current is flowing inside it .now place your phone into a drying agent , the most common drying agent (soaking agent ) available with all of us is dry rice or uncooked rice . place your mobile covered into rice for 24 or more hours as dry rice are good absorbing agents as they absorb whatever moisture left inside your phone . You can also use silica gel to dry your phone .Precaution - never blow dry your phone with blow dryer or heater as they can fry components of your phone . Don’t do such silly mistake .After 24 or more Hrs you can switch on your phone and I’am definitely sure you can use your phone as it was before .Why your phone is not working after all this - this is because your phone was in water for more time ,this let the water penetrated deep into the phone; it was not possible to absorb the moisture after all this remedy also. What should you do even if your phone is not working now also - immediately rush to the nearest mobile service store :)#underoot41

How to fix a broken Iphone charger cord?

I just fixed mine last night, I had a few old cords that didn't work.

All I did was make sure all the wires were intact closest to the phone (under the white cap) and If they were, I cut about 7 inches from the cap and I stripped the wires, then on the opposite side I did the same thing...

I used more than 1 cord mind you

Match up all of the colors and twist them together and wrap it with electrical tape.

If it's the part that goes into the USB port, use an old computer mouse and cut the mouse off, strip the wires and match the colors up to the iPhone cord.
