How Can I Get My Yahoo Mail To Come Up On Full Screen

How do I make my yahoo mail screen full page. It now has half screen for emails I have to scroll down to read?

You may have the preview pane turned on. To turn it off click on the Actions gear and then Turn Preview Pane Off.

How to get full screen in yahoo mail?

Hold down Ctrl and use your scrollwheel to increase it.

How do you view email full screen?

Ok, so you are using something other than the best (Gmail).

It must be Hotmail or Yahoo Mail!

anyways, you should turn off the Reading pane! or Select "No reading pane"

How to widen the area of yahoo mail to see full screen view?

when is yahoo going to give the consumers what they need?
All we get is stupid, frustrating, ridiculous changes that do everything, but make it easier to use.
Change just for changes sake is the most spastic business approach which undeniably leads to dysfunction. When I first started using yahoo, it was easy to use without any major user problems. A new CEO is required to change the in-house, inbred attitude, so as to fix this abomination.
Why is there no consultation before these idiotic changes are enacted.
What moron even thinks up these cretinous changes.
Is there anyone there that actually has a brain that works and is capable of understanding, communication, and consideration.
Ever tried to contact yahoo directly with a complaint or problem?
Nigh on impossible to do. I am certain that no-one there has any concept of what customer service entails and the real and obvious obligation they have to their users.
They need to start up a complaint/problem message service to actually assist users, instead of going the cheapskate way and rely on other users in forums. They can't tell me that they are short of money.
Maybe it is time to swap to another client as enough is enough.

How do I change my Yahoo mail back to full screen instead of split screen?

You have Preview Pane turned on.

Go to Yahoo Mail
Mouse over the gear icon
- a menu appears
Select Settings
Click Viewing email
From the drop down menu next to "Preview Pane", choose None
Click Save

Why does Yahoo Mail only show on half screen ?

I did NOT find anything named View that worked. I did NOT find the preview pane. What I did, was clicked on something on the left, above the Compose/Inbox/Drafts vertical list. It was one of those little icons that fixed it but I am not sure which one as it didn't immediately change back to full screen...but I know it was one of those icons. You would think Yahoo would make some things more intuitive-like where to edit the sig file or how to fix this problem-and how to prevent it from happening.

Mail not using full screen?

If you are using Internet Explorer your problem could be because of a feature called "Compatibility Mode". You will need to switch to a different browser or turn off Compatibility Mode.

To disable Compatibility mode in Internet Explorer 8, 9, or 10:

1. Open your Internet Explorer.
2. Click Tools.
3. Click to uncheck Compatibility View.
**Note: Ensure that "yahoo.com" is not listed under "Websites you've added to Compatibility View."
4. Close and relaunch your Internet Explorer.
5. Access Yahoo! again.

The full view of the new Yahoo! homepage has been optimized for 1024x786 resolution.

If your page doesn't fill the screen, you are probably using a higher resolution. You may not want to lower your screen resolution to optimize for this web page, but you could use a lower resolution if you would like this web page to fill your screen.

How to exit full screen.?

You seem to have an LCD monitor. The LCD monitors are configured to have a single resolution on which they work the best. If you have changed it, you can change it back to normal by right clicking on the desktop and choosing properties, then go to settings, then slide the slider step by step till you get the resolution back. If you get the warning from the monitor about unsupported resolution, dont panic, simply wait for few seconds and it will be back to normal.

Click the little person at the top , right hand corner.. I don't have the app, but it should be the same..
