How Can I Install Mysims On A Mac Laptop

How do I install Sims 4 on my Macbook Pro?

The Sims 4 is a game which is not free. You can buy and download The Sims 4 via a game engine called Origin (www.origin.com). Since you’ll be getting it through the legal and right channels, you will not get a virus and it is completely legal. It runs fairly well on my MacBook Pro.Now, if you’re thinking about pirating it, then yes, it might give you a virus, it is free, but it’s illegal.Don’t be stupid. Be safe and support the developers. Buy it.

It wont let me install my sims 3?

The Semaphore Timeout is a timeout that occurs when there has been no contact with the other side of the connection for a set period of time.
This often occurs when a network interruption occurs but nothing is seen or send to Windows to notify it that this connection no longer exists.
VPNs can be a cause of this timeout.

How can I run/install/open Sims 3 without a CD slot?

Have you registered your game? If so, you can download Origin (EA’s gaming platform)* and sign into your EA account. Any games you’ve registered under that account will be automatically counted as owned, and can be downloaded and played digitally. No CD or physical media of any type required! That’s how I play Sims, or any other video game.*please note, link is for US version of Origin, so some Google work may be in order if you’re from another country

Does The Sims gets harder to run as I install more and more expansions?

I’m not sure that it’s the GB size of the actual packs that matter, but yes the more content you have in your game the slower it will be, at least when loading. I’ve noticed this with each one over the years. Especially if you also use CC (Custom Content). It will take longer to load certain parts of the game, namely CAS and Build Mode. Because stuff packs and expansions add, well, more stuff for the game to load in.Edit: Just a little note I thought I’d add, I know that it definitely does affect it because it happens to me too, I could run the base game alone on High, but the more expansions and stuff packs I add the slower it starts to run and I have to turn the graphics down, and that’s without CC. I took out all of my custom content a while ago to find one faulty file, my game ran a lot better without all the extra stuff to load. Also it may be worth adding that with The Sims 3, they added an option to disable and enable whatever packs you wanted each time you open the launcher, specifically for performance reasons. So it’s definitely nothing wrong with your computer, the sheer amount of stuff you put in it can certainly start to slow it down.

How can I transfer my Sims 3 from my PC to my Mac?

Yes, it is both possible to install the games on a Mac and also transfer your save data over.

To install the games on your Mac, you need to make sure you have Origin installed: http://www.origin.com/download

You then need to register your games with Origin using the serial keys found on the game manual. Doing this will add the games to your Origin library and make it possible to download the digital download versions of the games onto your Mac.

To transfer your saves over onto your Mac; using your windows pc, go to: My Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3
Copy the "Save", "Installed Worlds", "Download", "DC Backup" and "DC Cache" folders onto a flash drive.
Plug the flash drive into your Mac computer.
On your Mac, go to: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3
Copy and paste the folders from the flash drive to the "The Sims 3" folder.

Where is the eject button on a macbook pro laptop?

I have a macbook pro (laptop) and I want to play my sims game, but I don't know what the eject button looks like or what it is. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm not wonderful with technology and I'm still getting used to this computer. Thank you hugs xoxo

How do I get full screen for my sims 2 pet stories on a mac?

I don't have a Mac so I will describe this in general terms.

You first need to click on Options (the three dots on the bottom left of the control panel across the bottom of the screen). You will get a fly-out. One of the icons will look like a monitor and another like a camera. I can't remember off the top of my head which one you need to click so try checking both. In the bottom right of one of them you will have the option to play in windowed mode yes/no. Select the option to make it go to full screen instead of windowed.

Sorry I can't be more precise but the option is definitely there, in one of the graphics options.
