Depending on the specific spec options you have on your surface, I think generally the Sims 4 will run fine. Compared to the massive cpu processing required by TS2 and TS3, TS4 is very smooth.Definitely check your graphics card, ram, and processor speed before making your decision though. Those things, not the operating system, will be your deciding factor.I don’t think you’ll have the greatest experience on a Surface, only because I personally find the use of a comfortable keyboard vital for Sims gameplay.

In fact, downloads are slowly replacing installing from a disc drive.You can also key in the DVD code from the physical copy to add the game into your Origin library without putting the disc into your PC. It’s how I’ve gotten most of my Origin games. There are even some EA titles (such as the Dead Space series) that offer a game code if you own them on Steam and that game code entitles you to the game on Origin.

It depends a bit on how old the discs are and how much you have patched them.The earlier* discs didn’t require an Origin account, so you could install them on multiple computers with the same serial number.You could only play on one computer at a time, of course, since you had to have the disc in the drive to play. But if you had three expansion packs, you could lend the base game and the first two expansion packs to your friend and he could install them and play with the second EP disc in his drive and you with the third EP disc (you have to have the newest EP disc in the drive, as far as I know).However, later when they added Origin, things got more tricky.
