How Can I Keep Articles From Examiner.com From Appearing In My Yahoo.com Newsfeed. It Won

How to filter out articles by Motley Fool from Yahoo News?

Yahoo! is ran by a right-wing CEO. So you're going to get junk from Fox News (Newsmax), CNBC, Bloomberg and junk way more than any other source. They have more "news" from CNS for God's sake than legit news outlets like NYT. Yeah, I know, conservatives think all other news is liberal bias, but that's cultish talk "don't believe others because they will only mislead you, believe us, because we're looking out for you". Sure Yahoo! will sprinkle in a bit of Huffington and AP, but you will never see anything from the trully liberal biased MSNBC versus the conservative biased outlets that are constantly on Yahoo! Why would they send you stuff outside of Motley Fool when they're trying to control the narrative based on what they push in front of your eye when you're in Yahoo! just wanting to read your godamn mail. It ain't "free" mail, you know.

Why don't my Facebook photos appear in my news feed?

That sort of stuff clutters your newsfeed. You already know you posted the photos. It was a deliberate act. There is little reason to update you about the fact you just uploaded photos.Instead use notifications to view the activity of your friends with this photos (comments and likes) or your Timeline if you need to interact with them yourself.

According to this, Making it easier to ask questions about current events by Jackson Mohsenin on Quora Product Updates, they oddly forced everybody into a beta stage to experiment with this sort of feature in order to have current events associated with external links instead having a select group of beta testers.Of course, the backlash is rising as these links is really flooding the main page with unnecessary and uninteresting articles to many people. Many of them have clickbait titles with little explanation for what the article is really talking about. Examples include:The links is supposed to pertain to topics you follow, but I didn’t come to Quora to get the latest celebrity gossip. The links are very minorly associated to the topics it suppose to relate to. Baby Boomers Are Killing the Early Bird Special is considered as extinction? How to delete a news feed, Huffington Post from my yahoo news feed?

I use FireFox and this is how I do it. First you need the "Greasemonkey" add-on then you need to go to this link

https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/5384-purge-huffington-post-from-yahoo-news-feed

and install the script. Once installed you will have to restart your browser. Then open up the "Manage User Scripts" Tab it will open the "Add-ons Manager" and then press "Options" Tab. A window will pop up, at the bottom is a Tab that says "Edit this User script" press that Tab and another window will pop up, find the line (15) that says "var spamNames =". Carefully delete what is inside of the [ ] and copy paste this line

'Huffington Post', 'The Huffington Post', 'Salon', 'Salon.com', 'Vox', 'Vox.com'

close the box, it will ask to save it, do so.
I add "Bloomberg" as well because for all practical purposes their "news" falls into the same category. If you want to block "Bloomberg as well paste this line instead.

'Huffington Post', 'The Huffington Post', 'Salon', 'Salon.com', 'Vox', 'Vox.com', 'Bloomberg'

If you want to really clean up the feed paste this line instead.

'Huffington Post', 'The Huffington Post', 'Salon', 'Salon.com', 'Vox', 'Vox.com', 'Bloomberg', 'The Atlantic', 'MSNBC', 'The Wrap', 'Los Angeles Times', 'Refinery29', 'MintPress News', 'ThinkProgress', 'Christian Science Monitor', 'The Hill'

Hope this helps someone.

Yahoo news stories scrolling not working?

OK. I am on the main Yahoo page. The Today window is in the center of the page. It says there are 44 stores and it is showing me 1 to 4 of 44. I want to see the next set of 4 stories. I click on the right arrow which should show me the next 4 but nothing happens. This used to work off and on. Now it never works. I had to upgrade my CA Security Center to the 2010 version because I use Road Runner as my ISP. Maybe the upgrade is what is messing this up. Has anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it? Thanks in advance for your help.

Why don't my own updates appear in my news feed?

I had same experience for some time. My recommandation is to check set up of your news feed. You can set All updates and change Top updates to Recent updates. The reason is that more and more subjects (individuals and companies) communicate and therefore Linkedin is optimalisating recommanded content. On other hand this is Linkedin force to use sponsored update and spend your money at Linkedin.

They won't let *you* get Facebook? I would suggest telling the parent that won't let you that it's great for staying touch with relatives. Does your parent have a lot of cousins? It would be so much easier for your parent to stay in touch with them if your parent had Facebook, too. Explain also that it's a good way for you to keep up with school work and other activities, because you can post and ask what your homework is, or when basketball practice has been rescheduled. If your parent is still not convinced, say that you'd be willing for your folks to check out your account now and then, to make sure you're not posting anything weird. It'll be annoying, but it's better than not having one (trust me!)........................
