How do I keep the conversations going on with girls? I'm always short on topics and eventually end up keeping myself mum after a small talk.
Girls will usually keep the conversations flowing themselves. If they are not, the best thing to do is to tell them that they, their ring, earring etc. looks beautiful. Keep the girl engaged by letting her talk about herself, laughing with her when necessary and just showing that you are actually listening to her. After a while, you will ease up. Most girls will put up a question here and there and will make you talk about yourself too. So you just need to hold on to the conversation. This happens more in real life. If you are talking via texts or online, it is highly likely that you will fall flat on the face. The girl will have her attention diverted sooner than you want and your chances of getting a conversation going will be gone.

I love to text but I am sure she has other people to text also so if she is texting you that much I would have to say there most be some kind of interest going on there. On saturday she text me first saying heyy and how are you etc. then on Monday she text me saying stuff about a class at school etc. she always replies quickly and carries on the convo etc. could this mean she is interested or what? When she looks at me in school she looks away when we make eye contact aswell. I really like her aswell. she talks to me in groups a little more than other ppl but kind if avoids me when she is by herself? I sometimes get butterflies around her and my heart beats faster sometimes aswell. I want to get closer to her and hang out etc but not be friendzoned! EDIT: I talked to her today and she was blushing...the conversation died really quickly aswell, how can I keep it going? What are some good topics and how can I ask her questions without it being random or awkward?

I really don't know how to text teen girls. I'm 16 myself. I can't even talk to a girl, I studder in their presence, and I talk to low, and it just seems like I'm trying TOO hard when I speak to them (and I think girls notice that too!). I've been texting a girl I like, we have the BEST conversations when we're talking about our emotions (about our life and etc.) and how much we BOTH wanna be famous, other than that... our conversations OR MY TEXT messages, I should say, are pretty much boring. We USED to text each other every minute, but now I think she's bored of me. When I came up to her in school today, it seemed like she didn't wanna talk to me, I said, "Hey Valerie" and she responded, "Hey" and I said, "Who you waiting for?" and she said, "Elsie." And she looked at her phone the whole conversation, she only looked at me when I said, "Hey Valerie." Ugh, I really like her and I can't stop thinking about her. Today I sent her the most dumbest text message ever to try and make her laugh, like I said, "I'm full. I'm gonna go home and take a shower then walk around naked. You?" Ugh I know that was dumb BUT I'm not good at texting girls and... yep I'm still waiting for her to reply to that message... it's been a hour and 30 minutes since I sent that. Please someone tell me how to change this situation so I can have a heated conversation with her everytime I text or talk to her in person, please?

Does that mean she has some form of interest in me? She doesn't usually flirt when texting (maybe she does and I don't catch it). But whenever we text each other it lasts for at least 2 hours, with both of us trying to keep the convo going. Also, since I usually start the convo, should I wait until she texts me first? P.S. We're both 16, yes she's my crush. We're casual friends, we've hugged before and all that Oh yea, another small questions, doing this enough to show her I care: I tell her she's really good at this camp she's going to, tell her good luck, try to make her feel better about herself, and tell her goodnight (if we text at night). What else can I do?
