Why does Facebook show someone accepted your friend request for whom you didn't even send? Is that a bug?
The same thing just happened to me and there’s no way someone cracked my password because I have two-step verification turned on and I get a notification every single time someone logs into my account. I never sent this request and never heard of the person or visited the profile of the person whose account I supposedly requested. No one else uses my laptop or phone, which is password protected as well. There is something very wrong here! This question has been posted in Facebook help multiple times as well and the questions are all closed. Many people are asking this same question but the typical response is that we accidentally hit the request button. Sorry, as many people are reporting this as an issue there really is a problem here that needs to be investigated!

If you have a friend request then that person has requested it. Facebook has a feature called, "People You May Know" and that is probably why they found you. The people who work at facebook do NOT have time to send people friend requests for people the user may not even want to be friends with.
Dont you hate it when when someone sends you a Facebook friend request then they never talk to you after that?
I have over 200 friend and I only talk to some of them. Yeah I send the others messages but they either dont respond or give you some lame one word answer and then stop talking, and the bad part is they sent the friend request. I just un-friend them! However I would like to hear your thoughts on this matter
