How to lose 10 pounds in a week?

i am over weight and i wont to lose weight but i wont to start slow...and i wont to lose the weight...and more but i know it will take more then a week...so i wont to lose a lot of weight by the time school starts!! Please help me!!!

Lose 10 pounds in 3 weeks?

1) Drink a glass of water before every meal. It fills you up so you don't over eat. Also drink a glass of cold water every morning - Your body burns calories by cooling down the water to make it useful to your body.

2) Eat slowly - It takes your brain 20 minutes to realize you're full, so if you eat fast, you'll overeat.

3) Don't go under 1200 calories a day. It'll slow your metabolism down, and you won't be able to receive all the nutrients you need in a day. And once you do start eating normally again, you'll regain all the weight you lost immediately. Instead, take it slow and steady.

4) Don't be a lazy bum. Do jumping jacks while watching TV, run laps around the coffee table - Just try to keep yourself moving.

5) Immediately after eating, pop a piece of cinnamon or mint gum in your mouth so you don't feel the urge to keep picking at your food.

6) And don't beat yourself up if you had a bad day! Listen to your body - If you want something, have it! Just always remember to keep it in moderation. But don't deprive yourself, or you won't get ANYWHERE.

7) Leave a couple bites left on your plate when eating. You can save calories by not eating every last bite.

8) Substitute "diet" foods for regular foods - Skim milk for whole, low-fat cheese for full-fat cheese, light bread over regular bread, reduced calorie yogurt over regular yogurt, Splenda for sugar, etc.

workout for 30 minutes I do 100 jumping jacks, 25 sit ups, and 10 push ups. I eat healthily and cut out soda completely. I drink mainly water, but I do sometimes have a bit of juice. This helps me a loot so try it.. I wake up at 06:30am and I do the workout and before I go to sleep I do it again so 30mins in the morning and 30min at night try this :)x

Lose 10 pounds in one week?

I lost 10 pounds in one week, and this is how I did it: First, I cut back majorly on my portions. For breakfast I had one small bowl of Cheerios and a banana. Lunch, I had a non-fat yogurt and a sandwich. For dinner, I usually ate salmon or tilapia...some type of lean fish with broccoli or spinach salad. What really made me lose weight though, was drinking 72 oz. of water each day. The water makes you pee a lot, but it gets rid of toxins in your bloodstream and completely cleanses you. I lost weight from not only eating a little healthier and lighter, but the water sped up my metabolism, making it easy to lose weight. Just think no other drink but water and smaller portions. Is it safe to lose 10 pounds in a week?

I remember about 13 years ago, I joined weight watchers. I weighed 210 lbs - I am a 5'7" male. I was 41 at the time. I followed the program religiously. I bumped my activity a little, but no serious exercise till the third or fourth week. Started at about 1450 calories per day. (They actually used a point system at the time).Here were my weekly weight losses for the 20 weeks I stuck with it: 9  3  4  4  1  3   4  3  2.6  3  1.4  2.2  1.4  3.4   -.8   1  1  2  1  .8 I lost 50# in 20 weeks about 2.5# per week. While I lost 9# the first week, there is no weigh it was all fat. My guess is that it was 3# fat, 6# water.  So it is technically possible to lose 10# the first week of a serious diet. But it is probably difficult to do it safely unless you are 50# overweight (like I was) and the second or third week will settle down between 1-3 # per week.   In any case, the 10#, being mostly water will hardly affect your looks or your ability to fit into clothes. It is just a number on a scale. Those other good  things don't start to happen until 3 or 4 weeks in.
