IT WORKS TRUST ME

Need to lose 6 pounds in a week?

Eat 6 meals a day, every 3-4 hours.

Keep your goal weight EVERYWHERE! (On your refrigerator, tables, counters, mirror, walls, notebooks, on your phone, in your fridge, anywhere you can think of.. It helps keep you motivated)

Everytime you go to get sweets, junk food or any fatty foods.. Remember why you're avoiding them.

Get rid of all the junk food in your house

Eat ; fruits, vegetables, fish, lean meats, nuts & seeds

Do lots of cardio

Drink lots of water, along with lemon water and green tea (lemons and green tea help boost your metabolism and burn fat)

Find out how many calories you're required to eat daily ; http://caloriecount.about.com/tools/calo...

Before you eat, drink water.. You could be mistaking thirst with hunger.

Work hard, because if you do.. You'll see results pretty fast.

Find a buddy, if you have someone there to push you while you work out.. It helps and if you're eating healthier with someone else.. They can keep you motivated.

Keep a food journal, it helps so that you're not sugar coating what you eat(you're being completely honest with yourself)

Keep in mind, it's okay to set aside 1-2 days a week for cheat meals.. Just don't go overboard

Chewing gum helps too, it keeps your mouth occupied (I'd suggest Extra gum, it's only 5 calories per piece)

Have people around you that support you, not try to make you fail.

Keep weight loss quotes around the house, like.. 'The more you sweat, the better you get' 'Nobody has ever drowned in their own sweat' etc.

Don't give up, no matter what.

Yoga helps with weight loss and it relieves stress.

Weight watchers works!

Stretching is important before & after you work out (you don't want to get injured)

I need to lose 5-10 pounds in a week. Which 'diet' should I try?

Follow a strict ketogenic diet, and you will lose weight effortlessly. No exercise needed. The dead easiest version of the diet is to just eat bacon and eggs, or breakfast sausage and eggs ONLY. I didn’t even count calories when I first started doing this, just ate bacon & eggs for the first month (lost 30 pounds in 30 days)….. I lost another 50 pounds in the following 7 months, and have kept it off following this diet. Obviously, you’ll gain back the weight if you go back to eating crap again….Drink only water or black coffee/tea (no sweeteners whatsoever). NO diet sodas, NO sugar free gums, NO sweet anything for 2 or 3 months. This has to do with something called Cephalic Phase Insulin Release (CPIR for short). This is where your tongue tastes something sweet, and your pancreas squirts insulin. So even “zero calorie” sweet shit is verboten (forbidden) for at least 2 or 3 months. You’ll want to start taking a magnesium supplement (not mag-oxide, it’s nothing but ground up rocks, worthless), as you will be drinking a lot of water (ketosis makes you thirsty). Maybe take a potassium supplement. You will also want to increase your salt intake, to keep yourself from pissing out all your electrolytes. Don’t worry, you BP will still go down on this diet, as this diet acts like a diuretic drug. It is not uncommon for people on this diet to eat upwards of 4 or 5 grams of salt per day (again, it’s okay to do so on this diet). My BP went from 165/96 before this diet, to my current 120/70,If you feel like you have “the flu” when you first start this diet, this is the reason why (not enough salt, magnesium, and/or potassium). If your worried about your “cholesterol” don’t. See this video from Ivor Cummins explaining why a low carb/high fat (LCHF) diet is actually very healthy… You might also want to check out Dr Jason Fung, Dr Jeff Volek & Steve Phinney, or Dr Robert Lustig who completely debunks CICO (Calories In/Calories Out).Study up on the in’s and outs of this diet, as there are many pitfalls. For example: Eating too much protein is the #1 mistake people make. It’s a high fat diet, NOT a high protein diet (macros should be 5/20/75 (% of calories in Carbs/Protein/Fat). Google is your friend. Join a ketogenic Facebook group like Keto Mafia or similar support group (not “keto connection”, they’re just a-holes).Good luck, and good eating.
