How Can I Lose The Thin Layer Of Fat Covering My Abs

How do you lose the thin layer of fat covering abs?

Unfortunately, there is no possible way to lose fat over a target area of the body. In order to lose fat over the abdominals, you will need to lose fat overall. It’s quite an undertaking to rock a six pack, which is what I assume you’re attempting to do. Take myself for example, I’ve been working out seriously for about 6 months now, which is something I’ve never personally done before. I went from 196 lbs to 160, and now I’m at 11% body fat, but still no six pack. If you want your abs to be visible, you’ll need to be very low fat, but also have a considerable amount of muscle mass, otherwise you’ll wind up looking scrawny. I’d advise you to either get a personal trainer to check your body fat percentage, or find a place that uses InBody and scan yourself. The results may not be 100% accurate, but its a great way to track progress and give you a basic idea as to your progress.

How to get rid of the layer of skin covering abs?

Visible definition in the abdominals comes from a low body fat percentage, somewhere in the ten to eight percentile should suffice to see the entire "six pack". Although there are a lot of options for you to pursue to lower your body fat percentage, you have either one of two issues. First, and most likely, your body fat percentage is just not low enough, do core work cardio and watch your diet to fix this. Secondly, assuming your body fat level is in the optimal range, that the "extra" layer you are referring to, is most likely just your body holding water, thus preventing you from seeing the definition you seek. To be rid of excess water, you must watch your sodium intake and keep potassium at a adequate level to maintain electrolyte and fluid balance. good luck

Good advice here already, but I'll add on to that. To lose the fat on your belly you need to lower body fat percentage. There is no such thing as spot fat removal, you can not chose to lose only fat on your belly. Unfortunately the belly holds the most fat so it takes the longest amount of time to get rid of. If you've already been losing fat and now your left with only the stubborn belly, just keep going and it will go away. If you don't know how to lose fat, you need to burn more calories then you consume each day and slowly but surely the fat will go away, but do not starve yourself or your body will hold onto it. Try starting by eating about 200-300 calories below your maintenance calories. Get your sleep and drinks lots of water. I hope that helps.

I'm the same exact way.. I mean its not that disgusting but it know its there.... And i'm almost 19.
I think just by cutting fatty foods. Cut out sweets and stuff after like 7pm. If you're hungry after that have an apple or something...
Also, just running. Its gonna be kinda hard for me cuz I eat fast food at least once a day. ! lol if you figure out a better way let me know please :)

Oh and good luck to you !
