How Can I Make A Balanced Equation Sodium Carbonate And Hydrochloric Acid With Phenolphthalein And

How can i make a Balanced equation sodium carbonate and hydrochloric acid?with phenolphthalein and with methyl orange as indicators.?

You have the Na2CO3 solution in the Erlenmeyer and the HCl solution in the burette
First endpoint - this to the phenolphthalein end point :
Na2CO3 + HCl → NaHCO3 + NaCl
At this point the solution is colourless. pH will be ≈8.5
Add a few drops of methyl orange indicator
continue titration until endpoint
Equation:
NaHCO3 + HCl → NaCl + H2O + CO2
pH ≈ 4.5

Sodium carbonate (aq) + hydrochloric acid (aq) --->?

do you mean Na2CO3 or NaHCO3
Na2CO3 if it reacts with HCl if it does than it would transfer th H+ ions but im not sure if it does NaHCO3 would be a neturalization rxn i will give you both
Na2CO3(aq) + 2HCl(aq) = 2NaCl(aq) + H2CO3(aq)
2[Na]+ + [CO3]2- + 2[H]+ 2[Cl]- = 2[NA]+ + 2[Cl]- + H2CO3
[CO3]2- + 2[H]+ = H2CO3 (Carbonic Acid)

NaHCO3(aq) + HCl(aq) = NaCl(aq) + H2O(l) + CO2(g)
[Na]+ + [HCO3]- + [H]+ + [Cl]- = [Na]+ + [Cl]- + H2O(l) + CO2(g)
[HCO3]- + [H]+ = H2O(l) + CO2(g)

What happens when you add hydrochloric acid to sodium carbonate?

Acid carbonate reactionProducts : carbon dioxide gas, water and salt sodium chlorideCarbon dioxide gas released as effervescence or bubbles, test for its presence using calcium hydroxide, slaked lime, by bubbling it into limewater to produce a chalky white precipitate of calcium carbonate.

What is a balanced equation of the reaction between hydrochloric acid and sodium carbonate?

2HCl + Na2CO3 → 2NaCl + H20 + CO2

Sodium carbonate + hydrochloric acid molecular, complete ionic, and net ionic equation?

molecular:
Na2CO3 + 2 HCl → 2 NaCl + CO2 + H2O

complete ionic:
2 Na{+} + CO3{2-} + 2 H{+} + 2 Cl{-} → 2 Na{+} + 2 Cl{-} + CO2 + H2O

net ionic:
CO3{2-} + 2 H{+} → CO2 + H2O

What is the reaction of potassium carbonate and hydrochloric acid?

K2CO3 + 2HCl → H2O + CO2 + 2KClWhen potassium carbonate reacts with hydrochloric acid it vigorously produce carbon dioxide gas, leaving the aqueous state of potassium chloride.Hopes this helps:)
