I understand just how you feel, I'm almost 19 myself. I had to move 3 times in high school which was so hard for me, I lost friendships with people I had known since I was a kid and I know what it's like to feel like you have no one. When I moved to this town I was able to meet people through school but after graduating and losing touch with those people I got a job as a waitress. This was probably the best decision I had made, because everyone who worked there was close to my age and I didn't feel so lonely. It gave me a place to go and something to do. I know you take online classes, but if there is any chance that you'd have time to get a part time job where you can meet people I really think that'd be the best thing for you too. People that work together often hang out together, and just like that you have a new group to hang out with. And just think, the majority of those people have their own groups outside of the work-crew, so they open you up to more people as well. If there's a place in your town or a neighboring town where you know a bunch of people your age go try doing something new . You can research the web to find out where some of those places may be, like a cafe where they have shows or something along the lines of that. In my neighboring town there are always big festivals and shows going on in the city, so if you live in a big city or are fairly close to one that's another option. It may be hard for you to get back into the groove if you're not very outgoing, but if you are I'm sure you won't have a problem. Keep in mind that even people in college their first year feel really lonely and it's hard for them to adjust, you're not the only one!
