How Can I Make It Through 4 Days In Jail

I got sentenced to 3 days in jail?

Serve the full 72 hours. My dad been to jail before and he just says its boring. Not really anyone messes with you, because all day your locked up all day everyday except breakfast, lunch, and dinner time.

I have to serve 2 days in jail, What is it like?

well cayla if you are a girl well id advice you to stick to yourself.. your going to be jailed with people who committed the same offence as you, or other petty felonys.. its going to be the longest 2 days of your life, you probably wont be able to sleep, its very uncomfortable.. you probably will only have 1 hour out your cell a day, you probably will eat in your cell since your not even going to be there for a week. its really not as bad as people make it out to be, to be honest. i mean your only in there for 2-4 days. but on the other hand if you had 2-4 years, youd get very depressed and probably cry for the first 2 weeks. lol. but seriously the first day in jail you probably wont even get there till 2 or 3 in the morning and you will have to get naked and take a shower with the girls you are coming with i guess to make sure you have nothing on you.. just sleep it off if you can.. my sister says she refuses to go back to jail.. i hope the same goes for you after your expeirence.. good luck

What to expect for a 30 day jail sentence?

I am sentenced for 30 days. I am disabled and I just want to know what to expect. Will I have a nurse to care for me? I can't do things for myself like showering, going to the bathroom and more. My mother has been caring for me this whole time. I just want to know what to expect. I was sentenced because I signed my friends name on a ticket. Which she said it was ok for me to do, that I wouldn't have problems. I never knew I had a warrant. This happend in 2007 and I just found out that she press charges on me. I don't talk to her anymore. I just want to know what to expect when Im in jail because of my condition.

What should i expect i have to serve 3 days in jail for dui please no judgement?

Ouch. Ur def gonna withdrawal? I live in pa but the jails here won't give u a simple Tylenol. Luckily u are only sentenced to 3 days behind bars? Or are u being sentenced in 3 days!? If ur only doing 3 days. Don't sweat it. URL be in and out faster than u think! Ur only problem is 1. Being sick from withdrawal! And 2. Missing work??
Don't run! God. Don't bail! Bc if u do. URL be Doing a lot longer than three days!!! And they will catch u. They always do. Even if u get away for 10 years. Some day at some point a cops gonna hve to run ur name and URL be caught. So don't make that dumb choice.
Sexual assault?? Not in jail. Now prisons. Ya I imagine in prison there are alot of that! Bc them offenders have years to do. And for bad crimes. And they have alot more freedom in prisons than in jails so bad things do occur!
In jails. It sucks. But not too bad. URL go in for booking. They will do the whole finger print mug shot thing. And strip search u. Than They will make u shower in front of a guard n wash with this lice medicine crap. Than u will get Into ur jail suit. Than sit in "booking" -a cell by yourself. Until they get a room /bunk for u open. Could be minutes. Could take weeks! So if u stay in booking the three days - than u can just sleep til u leave! Lol. They will bring ur breakfast lunch dinner to u while ur in there. But if they put u in "population" -give u a bunk/cell. Than URL be around other guys. U can play cards watch tv. Basically do nothing all day. Some jails take ya outside. Some don't. Some lock u in ur cell most of the days and some jails let u roam in the living area most times.
Regardless. Ur biggest worry should be ur loratab. I'd tell them. That ur prescribed them. Bc u are prescribed them-n they r a daily medication - they may have to give it to u. My father got his vikes in jail. But one every 4 hours. It helped his arthritis.
Anyway. Hope you learn ur lesson. My mother died when I was 14 yrs old from drinking n driving. And when I was 13 years old, my 7 year old sister got hit and killed by a drunk driver. So it's not only YOU u are putting at risk. It's complete strangers too.
Good luck?

What's it like being in jail?

I’ve been in jail and prison 4 times. Every next time was longer then previous one. When I go to jail first time, I was 20. I was scared to hell, because I knew nothing about prison, prison life, and what’s more important - about crime culture. My head was pretty messed up, but I looked like normal college nerd, crazy about computers, with long blonde hair and flannel shirt.First few days were crazy. New environment, new rules, and guys speaking other language then mine. It was still polish, but other then I knew. Very simple, very rude, with lot of prison slang. But in next days I was accomodating myself, and get used to new situation. Then it started to be boring. The same routine each and every day. The same meals, the same faces, the same view from the window. But it was only 40 days. The fourth time was much longers. 3 years and 2 months. When they put me into jail (surprise, surprise!) I was pretty sure that I’ll leave it in next 2–3 months. But lot of old cases just came to light. In worst days I was sentenced to 9 years. I was able to cut it to half, because lot of cases were for the same one fraud but different persons. Then after more then 3 years I was paroled. And this time wasn’t so boring then 3 times before.First, I was working in prison a lot. Mostly in prison library, doing everything to change crazy system (100 books were delivered to prison block with 80–120 inmates once per three months) to something better (when I was transferred to other prison, inmates were able to made orders from catalogs with 2000 positions, and books were delivered next week. 30–40 reviews made by other prisoners were attached to each catalog, and this number were growing).Second, I was working on my english (still it’s crappy, but I’m able to work for US based companies as DevOps specialist, so I think it’s not that bad at all).Third, I was reading books, writing lot of letters, making plans for redesigning my life, and going to gym three times a week.It was hard time, but I was not bored anymore. And 2 years ago I was interviewed and this interview was titled: “Prison is the best thing that happened in my life”. And it’s true. Thanks to time I spend there, I’m now better person (it’s rare case, usually it’s opossite after time in polish prison). So I think it depends a lot on attitude and finding a purpose of being there.

Norway: What are some good ways to get into a Norwegian jail?

If you're here without a residence permit, you'd just be deported (and almost certainly expelled from Schengen).  If you have a temporary residence permit, you'll probably still end up deported, your permit revoked, and an expulsion.  So, step one is becoming at least a permanent resident of Norway.  Step two is, if you're only a permanent resident, make sure you don't commit a serious enough crime to get your permit revoked. However, it's not like you get to choose your prison when you get sentenced.  Given that Halden is a high security prison, you're going to be less likely to be sent there for owning some pot or speeding.  I do reccomend however, while you're working on permanent residence/citizenship, that you actually talk to some people that have been to prison, former/current prison guards, ect.  Prison isn't fun, and painting a mural on a wall doesn't make it more fun.  I don't know many people who have gone to prison, but the ones I do are pretty fucked up from the experience.  They don't generally admit it right away because prison here is supposed to be a summer camp, and what kind of weak-willed person has lasting psychological damage from 30-90 days in a summer camp, right?  My friend, the prison guard, backs up the notion that these people aren't having fun.  Of course, it's really not a summer camp.  I find it baffling that treating prisoners like human beings and not intentionally causing psychological damage equates to prison being a fun time.  There seems to be a fundamental misunderstanding about how much loss of liberty really is a punishment.  The guards not being assholes doesn't make up for the fact that a prisoner can't see their friends whenever, can't see their significant other, can't go out to a concert or the movies. Having a cell that doesn't look like a dungeon doesn't change the fact that you can't decide when they want to wake up, go to sleep, or how long you have to shower and and shave.  A mural on a wall doesn't change the fact that you're behind that wall, it doesn't change the fact that you cannot even flip the lights on and off in your cell when you feel like it.

In India, one day in jail is equal to how many days outside?

One day inside is just one day outside . Night and days are not counted separately. It is just a mis- conception in public that night and day are counted separately and one day inside prison is two day outside. As prisoners are released in morning early hours one prisoner might get advantage of some hours if he had been admitted at night hours earlier day .
