What is the best thing about riding a motorcycle?
A few years ago, I was riding on some rural highways. I had been riding for many years, every summer, and many miles. Suddenly the thought came to me that maybe I had had my fill, I could sell the bike and not miss it. Then I turned off the road I was on and onto another smaller two lane highway I had never been on. That road! It was as if some maniac managed to get on the bulldozer one day while building it, and went on a rampage. It was a roller coaster of epic proportions. It pitched left and right, up and down, with tight corners and double curve warning signs of 20mph. I leaned into the first one hard, and it was a near hairpin turn. My head was turned 90 degrees to my body, looking well into the turn. I saw the switchback, and I hung off the bike, racing style, one cheek on one off the seat, and opened the throttle as I went around the corner. The extra g force flattened me into the seat. These kind of turns continued for 20 miles. When I emerged onto straight road, that was it, I couldn't believe I had considered selling the bike. The greatest thing about motorcycling is riding corners on a twisty road. It is thrilling and exhilarating and there's nothing quite like it. Except maybe a roller coaster or aerobatic flying.
What are some good excuses for not answering your phone?
Many! My phone is for my convenience, not for everyone else to get hold of me. I hate when people expect you to always answer.Sleeping, bathing, using the toilet, washing dishes, doing something that you can’t interrupt, in public place where you don’t have privacy, having sex, sick, headache, phone is on charger and you are in another room, you have company, eating, watching an important show, and I could go on.
