How Can I Make My Fingers Look Thinner

How do I make my fingers longer and thinner?

There's nothing you can do to actually increase the length of your fingers other than a painful surgery! But what you can do is give the impression of having longer fingers and slimmer hands! This will require paying a bit of extra attention to your hands, but the results will be worth the effort!

Firstly, you should grow your nails. Not too long that they get in the way, but just a little over the edge of the finger. Wearing nude or neutral nail paint shades elongates your fingers and wearing darker colors look edgy but do nothing for the lengthening effects. You could also use nail stick ons or enamels if you're unable to or don't want to grow your nails naturally.

Secondly, file your nails to a pointy round shape, and not to a square shape. Loosing a little weight all over helps, because then you loose some on the hands too and slimmer hands look longer, even if they aren't in reality, to chubbier hands.

Finally, although I have long fingers myself, they're kind of bony so I usually admire people with chubby or filled out hands because they look so wholesome! But I guess the grass is always greener on the other side, and I hope with these tips you can like your hands a little more!

How can i make my fingers thin and long?

well every i know who has long skinny fingers play the piano, probably becuase it takes a lot of strenght to press the key sat a fast rate, so teh fingers have to be long enough to reach 8 notes, and there're skinny cause pianists use up the fat in the fingers i think....so i you kepp your fingers busy every day... that may help a little good luck!
oh and there's surgey, but who will do that? not a lot of people look at hands!

How can I make my Fingers LOOK skinnier?

First of all, the worst thing to do is feel self-conscious about your fingers. No one is perfect, and in feeling this way it will taint how you think everyone is looking at you. Think about it--wear an awesome outfit, or have your hair done real stylish, and your hands will be the last thing anyone looks at.

Okay--that being said--I think wearing nail polish is a big risk, b/c you don't want to draw more attention to your hands than is necessary. So what I would do is get a french manicure--very classy and stylish, and I think b/c it's not a bright color it will not make your fingers stand out and therefore look even bigger!

Good luck, and remember--you rock! And so do your hands!

How to make my fingers look longer and skinnier?

hey! I've actually wondered the same thing as I am quite short, hence my fingers and hands are tiny haha. When I apply gel-nails (a harsher alternative to acrylics) my hands have a different shape. I try and make them medium length and may sometimes add a pink or silver line underneath the white tip to make it more appealing. I doesn't do much to the look until the nails grow and the line is more noticeable..where people stare and admire! Coloured nails first draw attention away from the finger but on the the tip, then back to the overall appearence of a persons hand(s).

I have studied hairdressing before and I have never been "big" but my hands and fingers in particular, appeared more toned and flexible as I was using them everyday at the salon. That goes to say that excerising your hands and fingers will in turn slightly change the appearence of your hands, but also how you use them.
Analyse hairdressers hands and see for yourself.

Guitar lessons may also be recommended as well as piano. Anything using your fingers!

A tip: Don't be too self conscious about it! No one observes fingers as much as you may observe your own.

How to get skinnier fingers?

Its not the answer you want to hear but there is no way to lose weight in your fingers alone. over all body weight loss will make them skinnier, but otherwise, stop cracking your knuckles or they'll only get bigger. I have the same problem. I know its tough to stop, but its for the best especially if you're already embarrassed about the size of your knuckles

here's the thing, cant is a word its in the dictionary and they will NOT be skinny again unless you lose over all body weight. If anything was possible if you set your mind to it I'd be flying everywhere with some invisible force holding me in mid air. Denial is also a word and having the attitude of "cant isnt a word" is denial. Reality is accepting that some things just cant happen and finding the things that can.

How can I get skinny fingers?

I have had the same problem to and there are a few things that i did to resolve this:

1) I learned how to play the piano, even if you dont know how to just try it fot the fun of it. Its a fun way easy way to get rid of some of that fat on your fingers. If you can get ahold of a piano or anything similar just tr to type more often it will get your fingers moving.

2) Writing -- it actually works to get rid of the fat, but i dont mean like wrighting a little side not ot something. morelike writing so much till your hands actually hurt. it works better than typing because your actually holding the pencil and using the rest of your hand, so it is not limited to just your fingers.

3) Try losing weight -- I had a ring on my ring finger once and then i noticed that it was really tight which indicated that my fingers were getting fatter. so i put the ring on my pinky finger and decided to lose some weight, i dont mean go on a crazy diet, like simply limiting your meals to no more than 3 and making sure that i didnt take more than 2000 calories a day.

4) You can also try to stretch your fingers, but this might be painfull and it will take to long for you to get the effect that you want.

5) I read this once in a magazine - a really simple trick to making your fingers look slimmer and longer, if the above points did not help, to to apply nailpolish that is of a skin type colour, in the magazine it said to use colours like gold which is what i use, it makes you fingers look elegant and longer, other colours include soft pink and other warmer colours, stay away from colder shades like blue purple and black. they will make your fingers look short and fat.

hope this helped :)

How can I make my fingers longer?

You can't but if you keep on practicing and doing some stretching exercises they might grow a little bit. Using the right technique can help you with your handicap so try finding a guitarist friend who will help you with that and keep on practicing. if you don't have such friends, look at youtube videos. There are many guitarists with different handicaps.Jean "Django" Reinhardt[1][2] (French: [dʒãŋɡo ʁɛjnaʁt] or [dʒɑ̃ɡo ʁenɑʁt]; 23 January 1910 – 16 May 1953) was a Belgium-born French guitarist and composer of Romani ethnicity.Reinhardt is regarded as one of the greatest guitar players of all time; he was the first important European jazz musician who made major contributions to the development of the guitar genre. After his fourth and fifth fingers were paralyzed when he suffered burns in a fire, Reinhardt used only the index and middle finger of his left hand on his solos. He created an entirely new style of jazz guitar technique (sometimes called 'hot' jazz guitar), which has since become a living musical tradition within French Gypsy culture. With violinist Stéphane Grappelli, Reinhardt co-founded the Quintette du Hot Club de France, described by critic Thom Jurek as "one of the most original bands in the history of recorded jazz".[5] Reinhardt's most popular compositions have become jazz standards, including "Minor Swing", "Daphne", "Belleville", "Djangology", "Swing '42", and "Nuages".TLDR - he never gave up and became a LEGEND!If you find it just too difficult, play ukulele. Ukulele is still a nice and expressive instrument, especially if you can sing. And look at Rob go! :But my recommendation is that you keep on playing guitar. One day, you will have enough money to buy a short scale guitar, and then, after a little getting-used-to, you will find that you can play it even better. And lastly, your finger size doesn't determine how good a guitarist you will become - YOUR DEDICATION DOES!

My fingers are so fat, what should I do to make them thin?

I can't really give you a decent answer without knowing a little more about you.Question: Are you currently overweight? If not and the rest of your body is trim, I would assume that you're fingers aren't actually fat, just thicker / more muscular. I had some friends who had thick fingers but it wasn't because they were fat (they were quite fit). They were just thicker, but you could tell they weren't fat just thicker. There's nothing wrong with that. If your case is similar, than you're probably just being too critical of yourself. I think everyone has done this or does this from time to time. I suggestTake a step back and breathe. Ask yourself: What is going through my head right now?Are my thoughts constructive or helpful to me any way?If what I'm thinking is true, how can I address it in a more constructive way?For exampleIf you know that you're a bit overweight:Realize that freaking out about it is only doing to get you closer to despair, which gets you nowhere. Ask yourself what you want to do about.Think about ways you can address the issue you have. To get more out of this, grab a writing utensil (crayon works), paper, and jot down some ideas. Then, making sure to not overload yourself with new habits too quickly, ask: What small step can I take toward this goal today? I highly recommend that you ask yourself this question each and every day. Before you know it, you will be naturally making steady progress, and will be finding that you can make and execute bigger steps without much trouble. When I was fat and decided that I wanted to lose weight I:Took a step back.Realized that crying and eating more out of despair wasn't going to get me anywhere.Chose running and eating better as my preferred methods of weight loss.Ran half a mile my first day.Cried the whole way back.Went a litter further each day. Didn't eat fourths, or thirds, or seconds at meals. After 2.5 months I was running 3 miles in 30 minutes and lost 45 pounds.Examine your self, set a goal, take incremental action.Hope this helps! :)p.s. Your fingers are normal :)

How should I shape my nails to make my fingers look slimmer?

I have really chubby fingers I have acrylic square nails but I feel like that makes my fingers look wider how should I have my Nails shape to make my fingers look slimmer

What should I do to my skinniest fingers ever?

I noticed in the picture that your fingers seem to be hyper reflexive. ( They bend back a bit.) There are several syndromes/disorders that have very long and loose finger joints as an indicator.  You may want to see a genetic specialist.  They will ask you some seemingly random questions and examine you for other indications. Some examples are:Do your joints ever dislocate?Do you wear glasses?Along with being thin, are you tall?Do you ever feel your heart "fluttering" or skipping a beat?Is your chest caved in a bit?Even if the answer to all these questions are no, it is best to bring something about your body that is uncommon to the attention of a doctor..or perhaps doctorS. If you answered yes to some or all these questions, you should be evaluated for Marfan syndrome.  Marfan is only one of many possibilities--but it is know for also coming with heart problems.  So take cheer! Your "skinny" fingers may alert you and save you from a much more serious problem. If your doctor says you are fine--I agree with the previous poster--those are great fingers for piano and other musical instruments!
