All teeth aren't the same color. Ever person naturally has a slightly different coloration. Usually either a little bit whiter or more yellow. Of course they may not be just as white as if you went to get them bleached at the dentist but it still makes a difference. And also try to stay away from coffee, tea, and sodas they stain your teeth, and if you do drink those than i would suggest using a straw

Can we make our teeth whiter?

You have two options for whitening teeth, either by in-office teeth bleaching or using at-home whitening kits. Both of these teeth whitening systems use peroxide-based agents. Before you opt for any type of dental procedure, it is best to consult your dentist on which is suitable for you. Results are different for each individual, do remember that bleaching will not whiten dental crowns or tooth colored restorations. For in-office teeth whitening procedure, the dentist might take photos of your teeth first, so that it will help them monitor the progress, your complete medical and dental history will be taken to know what actually caused discoloration of teeth. After that, the dentist or hygienist will clean your teeth, to prepare them for bleaching procedure. Your teeth might get three to eight shades brighter; it might take you several visits to achieve the desired results. There are numerous options for at home bleaching like using teeth whitening strips or gels, tooth whitening toothpastes or use of tray based bleaching systems. In tray based bleaching systems, your dentist can make custom fit trays that fit perfectly on teeth to hold whitening gel, they can be placed on your teeth for one or more hours for several weeks till you achieve the desired results.

I have braces - how can I make my teeth whiter?

You can bleach your teeth with braces on, it’s just a bit more difficult to find something that adapts well around the brackets. A custom-fitting tray from your dentist or a company that makes these would be best. You can also use whitening toothpastes and always clean thoroughly around those brackets. Most people opt to whiten AFTER they are finished with orthodontic work, just to keep things simpler and to not have whitening trays made more than once.

What are some foods that can make my teeth whiter?

I read an article years ago in a dental hygiene magazine and from what I remember any abrasive food will help, think broccoli, celery level. Apples and strawberries have stain removal compounds, as well as pineapple, I believe.Proper brushing and flossing, I am sure you know, do more. As well as avoiding the biggest stain makers to start with: smoking (number one by far!) teas and coffees.

How do I make my teeth look whiter in Picasa?

How can I make my teeth whiter naturally?

If you want good teeth health, I would say to avoid whitening products or home whitening remedies. Because this will not solve your problem in the long term, and the results won't last long. When I used whitening products my teeth would get whiter for a few days, then become even more yellow a week later. They would also become more weak and brittle. The potential harm to your teeth is not worth it. Most whitening products contain peroxide which erodes your enamel.

You might want to brush your teeth less often (once or twice a day is plenty), don't brush too hard and get a good toothpaste with natural ingredients. Also try to limit mouthwash use. Usually when your teeth are turning yellow it means your enamel is wearing and this causes the dentin underneath the enamel to appear (dentin is yellowy colored). Sometimes this happens because your body is deficient in calcium and so your teeth demineralize to supply minerals to the rest of your bones in the body. So you will want to start eating a more nutritious diet, get calcium from spinach, milk, butter etc. Fish and liver are also good for bone health. Try sushi. And eat lots of fat soluable vitamins. Also eat nuts, berries, apples, and olive oil. Apples contain pectin which can be a natural teeth whitener.

Foods to avoid : processed foods, carbohydrates (especially refined carbs - white bread , white pasta, etc), sugar, soda, candy/chocolate, cookies, cakes, you know the rest.

Also what I did was change my diet, start drinking milk more occasionally and swish the milk around in my mouth, like a mouthwash. It actually does whiten your teeth as weird as it sounds.

How do I make my teeth whiter and stronger?

Making teeth “whiter” is one thing. Making them “stronger” is another thing. Most people confuse brightening and whitening. Both are related since both are a result of white light bouncing off your teeth, making them look white. (All teeth look black when outside on a dark night or in a dark closet, for example). But here the similarity ends. Brightening is the process of removing topical stains caused through neglect, dark coffee and tea, smoking etc. A dental hygienist usually works on that, as so some abrasive toothpastes.Whitening is another matter. It usually involves making the dentin (layer under the enamel) whiter. And to do that, you usually use a form of oxygen (as in hydrogen or carbamide peroxide) to enter the dentin, react with the dark pigments and make them transparent and water soluble. That is done either in a dental office, typically with trays filled with hydrogen peroxide (sometimes with the assistance of a special lamp) or at home, sometimes with things like whitening strips, though less effectively. To make teeth “stronger” is a bit of a misnomer. Fluoride makes teeth “less soluble” by combining with hydroxyapatite to form fluorohydroxyapatite, which is 25% less soluble than your normal enamel. And if you are lucky enough to find a toothpaste with components that help form hydroxyapatite or better yet with nano-hydroxyapatite, you can make your teeth smoother, shinier which will reflect more white light, making your teeth look whiter. They may become less sensitive too.

You already know all this steps! Natural tooth whitening methods ought to include some exotic minerals, magic herbal lotion, a list mentioning baking soda, vinegar, or a frickin’ lemon at the very least, right??!!!Here’s a random ‘natural teeth whitening’ result from a google and let me tell you how stupid it is!Fruit and vinegar contain acid, and you put your teeth at risk when you prolong their contact with your teeth or use them to scrub your teeth because acid can wear away your enamel.Activated charcoal or a baking soda-hydrogen peroxide paste are too abrasive on your teeth can actually make them look more yellow. Enamel is what you’re looking to whiten, but if you’re using a scrub that is too rough, you can actually wear it away. There is no reliable scientific evidence to show oil pulling or turmeric whitens teeth. There goes the ‘natural teeth whitening’ down the drain! Now we are left with ‘what’s the best method to whiten the teeth?’Your dentist has very simple, scientific and tried & tested solution for that.In-Office and At-Home teeth whitening systems.Yeah …yeah…they are not ‘natural’, aligned to your chakras, Yin yang, positive karma, Oommm….…Hey, you want white teeth or not?!Footnotes[1] http://www.ada.org/en/science-re...
