G5 mouse freeze in windows 7?
I bought windows 7 right when it came out and haven't had a problem until now. My g5 laser mouse keeps freezing. I've updated the drivers, uninstalled them and let windows install them, installed the g5 setpoint a number of times. I've also tried registry fixes, disabling selective suspend, going into device manager, right clicking usb and disabling the power off function. I've spent (at least) 2-3 hours googling, sifting through microsoft and logitech forums along with others, not to mention probably (literally) 20 different attempted fixes. no one can address this problem. I'm hoping someone on here has found a solution, doesn't even have to be an easy one. Now here's my problem... my g5 mouse freezes constantly. If i wake up in the morning and start doing something it's not bad. But sure enough it will freeze for about 5-10 seconds. Usually it does it every ten minutes 2-3 times in a row, but lately it is getting worse. My g5 powers itself off multiple times a minute. This makes it impossible for me to do something as simple as browse the web. (well, next to impossible). it's more frustrating then anything especially for gaming. if someone can come up with a straight forward and correct answer i swear i'll go to every site i visited and post this page just PLEASE help :( and one last thing... it's truly disappointing that logitech and microsoft apparently aren't on the same page. i bought this mouse for 60 dollars when it first came out and have no problems until windows 7. windows 7 has been great, much better than vista, so great in fact that it makes me want to get a new mouse rather than downgrade, but it would be much easier to find that i needed a specific set of drivers for something. microsoft and logitech if you are reading this... get it together! it's like buying a brand new car and an after-market stereo only to find out the two aren't compatible... for no reason! at least give me a reason. D:

That controller resembles to the traditional console controller. The question isn't whether if the what 'free' games can it be used but does it support such a controller? I owned a Logitech Wireless PS2 controller and it worked wonderfully. Depending on the setup or control configuration on the game, it will work. Technically, there are tons of online games which are free albeit the term 'nothing is free' runs amok many folks; inherently there maybe online games that might be compatible with a gamepad. Windows Store has mostly mobile games which can be run on your PC and certain ones does support gamepad controller. Even then, you can use emulators to test the gamepad.

How do I make Dota 2 run faster on my Windows 8 laptop?
Everyone pointed out that you need new processor and a decent graphics card.
