How Can I Put Somebody In A Picture Without Them Looking Out Of Place

Is it legal to take a picture of someone’s house without their permission?

This question is mostly directed at U.S. law. I ask because a friend of mine was riding his bike back from the store, and someone in the neighborhood stopped him and insisted on looking through his camera because of some problem he had been having people that made him suspicious of my friend taking pictures of his house. My friend let him look at the camera, and all was well, but I don't think I would have been so keen to obey. What is the legal position on this... had he decided to take pictures of the house, would the house owner have had any legal recourse? I assume that even if he had, he still would not have the right to take the camera from my friend, although I don't know the legality behind the citizen’s arrest concept, but I digress. My main question is as stated in the title. I figure if it is legal for the paparazzi to take pics of celebrities, it must be legal to take pics of normal people and their houses indiscriminately.

Is It Illegal to take A picture of someone in the Mall without their permission?

I know that taking a picture of someone in a public place is not illegal, but in the mall is it okay? Is the mall a public place too where u can take pictures of anyone u want? And I u take a picture of someone in a public place or at the mall and he doesn’t want to can he attack me and force me to delete the picture? Does he have the right to make me to delete the picture?

If someone takes picture of me without my consent, what should I do?

Tell them they’re creepy and ask them to treat others with basic respect. Human beings have souls and feelings. We matter. We aren’t just props for people to take photos of to send to their loser friends.I’m so sick of how common it is for people to take photos of others without their consent. You wouldn’t walk up to a stranger and take a deep, loud sniff of their hair and start to moan or some other creepy, legal thing. Why do so many people think taking photos without consent should be allowed when it is a photo OF the person instead of a photo in which the person just happens to exist? (A photo of a person’s tits vs. a person who happens to be in your photo of the Eiffel Tower.)I was waiting for the train today and caught a woman taking a photo of a person without his consent. I confronted her about it and she just told me to “mind my own business” and started to insult me. Ironic, right? She wasn’t minding her own business by photographing someone without his consent. (She was really ugly and was wearing dark sunglasses in a dark train station so maybe she was just bitter and hung over? lol Some people should be forced to take remedial courses in manners lol.)I’m so tired of people going “it’s legal, so it’s okay!” Lots of bad things are legal, but that doesn’t make them acceptable or normal. Think of all the big pharma companies that make their life-saving medications so expensive that people are literally dying because they cannot afford their meds. Is that legal? Unfortunately, yes. Is it ethical? Heck no!

If someone takes a cellphone picture of me without my consent, how can I make sure that they've deleted it?

This may come as a surprise, but you have no control over what they do with that photo in most situations. This is true in pretty much all of Europe, Asia and the Americas. There are some limits, fortunately. If they took the photo where you have an expectation of privacy, like while using the toilet, they may be running afoul of local laws (e.g. US state laws often cover this; also illegal in UK and Japan, and surely other places). Same for spy photos of intimate situations in a bedroom, if you know what I mean. Shooting these and then sexting it is illegal in most states in the US.Also, laws in most countries prevent them from using your likeness for promoting a business or product without your permission. This is called the Personality Rights (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Per...). Again, this exists in one form or another internationally.Further, you could have forbidden photography while on your premises. Many dance clubs and other venues post signs forbidding photography, for example. Or you may have told the person verbally. Either way, this makes "no photography" a condition for entry and violating this means that the person is now trespassing. Your house, your rules. But unless they agree to delete the photo(s) as a condition for remaining on the premises, all you can do is kick them out; maybe with the help of the police. You have no rights to force any photographer to delete a photo. Ever. When you are in a public place and people can see you, you have no rights to tell them not to look. Same with photography; you can't compel them to not shoot photos. You can cover yourself up, which solves both I guess, but that is your choice, you can't dictate how others act in public.

Is it illegal to put a person's picture on a billboard without their consent?

I want to put a picture of a public school teacher on a billboard, with a quote of something that he often says.

I've been told:
- The image has to be easily available on the internet. His school image is not on the internet (that I could find). His image is easily accessible on the school's servers, and the image was given to me by another school teacher.

- The image can not be of an elected official. His not an elected official, he's a public school teacher. Just looking for some clarification on this.

- Copyright. There is none, that I'm aware. His image is easily accessible, through the school. And It was sent to me, by another teacher.

- The billboard cannot be slanderous. The quote is "Thanks guys, I appreciate it." Nothing slanderous there. However, the image. I have two images. One of him in his normal appearance, and another that has been edited so he is bald and has no eyebrows. To my understanding, slander is anything written or spoken that is a lie, and can damage a person's reputation. Does the edit image count as slander?

This is taking place in Ohio, United States.

I have looked over the Ohio codes for billboards, and see nothing that says this is illegal.

If there is something illegal about this, I would like to be directed to see the law/code/regulation/whatnot so I can look over it.

Someone posted a picture of me on instagram without my permission, what do I do?

So I logged onto to Facebook to find that someone had sent me a message of a screen shot they had taken of an instagram post of my Facebook profile picture with claims that they thought it to be appropriate that I see this, which instantly made me worry. I looked the person who posted my picture up and found that she was some kid that lives in my area and I wasn't even her friend, I don't even have an instagram! I'm not sure if the post was positive or negative, but I'm not okay with some kid looking me up, saving my picture, and posting it without my permission. I want the post down, what do I do?
NOTE: If you want any additional information, such as the person's name/username, send me an email.

If somebody thinks you are ugly looking is it possible to make them think you are good looking by getting a makeover?

I personally believe it is not possible.

I believe it is not possible because makeup does not change a person looks. Makeup is suppose to highlight and enhance person features.

Just take a look at thus picture of Mila Kunis with and without makeup. You can still tell it is the same person.

I think if somebody thinks you are ugly looking or not pretty there is probably not a lot you can do to make them think you are attracrive

The way people look.is genetic
