How Can I Report My Neighbors For Not Having Car Insurance

How can I report my neighbors for not having car insurance?

This is a great question and I'm glad you asked it. First off, don't listen to those who are giving you a hard time about doing the right thing. People who drive without insurance are derelicts who harm society and put hard-workers like ourselves in danger of serious injury and possible death. If they cannot be bothered to pay their bills (or keep a job for that matter), then we can only assume they are not responsible enough to drive a vehicle on our roads.

That being said, the best course of action would be for you to contact your local police station and let them know the license plate and location of the car without insurance. If they are leasing or financing the car, you might also consider contacting their bank to let them know that they are driving without insurance. Banks usually require a low deductible collision and comprehensive plan, and they get very angry if they are not maintained. If you're lucky, they may end up taking the car away from these low-life neighbors of yours. You can figure out any loans they have out if you run a comprehensive background check on these people.

I hope this helps. Keep up the good work.

My neighbor damaged my stone wall with her car. Is her insurance responsible for the repairs?

No. The insurance is NOT responsible. The insurance had nothing to do with your loss.YOUR NEIGHBOR is responsible. The neighbor happens to have insurance, which may pay for the loss.Don’t confuse responsibility (liability) with insurance. The insurance is NEVER responsible or liable. It may, however, pay damages on behalf of their insured.End of story.

My neighbor hit my trash bins with her car when backing up into my driveway. She wants me to be liable for the damages (bins and the car) since I was obstructing “public property”. What do I do?

I have had a similar issue with my idiotic neighbors. Our trash bins are provided by the county and are clearly marked as county property. I keep my bin at the side of the road on a grassy strip which is also county property. In other words, county property ON county property. My neighbors have more vehicles in their household than they have people or space to keep them, so they are frequently parking a vehicle on that grass strip. The problem is, they used to do this in a way which either completely blocked my vision to get safely out of my driveway, or the tail end of their vehicle would be partially blocking my entrance/egress from my driveway. One day, I confronted the neighbor about this, and the woman started arguing with me about the strip being county property, to which I pointed out the clear embossing on the bins indicating that they were county property, whereas her vehicles were not. When she realized I wasn’t backing down and was at my wits end, she moved the very large truck parked there blocking my driveway.A few weeks later, her son decides to park a different vehicle there, and proceeds to push the bin out of his way with the vehicle. He then leaves the car like that, with the bin at a tilt propped up against his car.I CALLED THE POLICE.The police arrived and instructed these m0r0ns that the LAW was that they could park their vehicles no closer than 6 feet from someone else’s driveway. Had they damaged the bin, they would have been on the hook for it with the county. These idiots still press their luck, frequently parking closer than the 6 feet away from my driveway that they were told. I have no problems calling the police on them again and again if that is what it takes. I spoke to them once, and that didn’t seem to take. Some people simply have to learn their lessons the hard way.I would strongly suggest getting security cameras in that area, because this woman will invariably try other stuff to retaliate once she’s finally told she has no grievance. Protect yourself.

I hit my neighbors garage with my van with no insurance?

I just messed up one side of the garage and some blocks scraped her car as well, no big dents or nothing in the car. the car was in the garage. If i have no car insurance, how do i get billed for it? The neighbor has erie insurance on her home. Will they let me make payments or what? How does this work? I am unemployed?

How do I prove my neighbor hit my car in the parking lot?

There are a bunch of door dings on my car that are new. I gave the opportunity for my neighbor to "fess up" and she said that she didn't put them there, even though her assigned spot is right next to mine. How can I prove that she is the cause of the damage and make her pay for the damage? Also, does the person who own the spot have responsibility if the person who's car it is says that it wasn't them?

Further info: This is the 2nd time I have been a victim of "hit and run" by said neighbor or their guests. I confirmed with another neighbor they were also the victim of a hit a run of someone whom they believed was a gust of said neighbor. I took a picture of how the car was parked last night, which shows that it was in a position to hit my car.

A little more on what the neighbor said: First thing she said was "My car has been here all day, I didn't move it." (Not true, I have the pix.) Next thing was, "I didn't do it." Final statement, "That damage was there before."

Last question: What are my rights? Should I give her one more chance before filing a police report?

Car insurance denied claim because they cannot contact its insured.?

This is why you call the police at the time of the accident, especially if the other pary isn't willingly giving you their insurance information initially.

I'm sure you can understand that without a police report, Geico can only take your word against hers.

You can sue her, but you really need her to admit fault for the accident to get anywhere.

Do insurance companies report accidents to CarFax?

On the fourth of July a neighbor backed into my car parked in the street and left a note that they hit my car. There was no police report and the damage was pretty minor for the most part. The body shop I will be using to fix my car does not report to Car Fax. The drivers insurance company is American Family Insurance. Is it likely they will report the accident to Carfax?

How do I report a car with no license plates?

I have this car that constantly parks near me in CA. He has no license plates, nothing. I've tried talking to him that he needs plates in CA, but he refuses to get them. How do I go about this?
