How Can I Save Email Pix To My Cricket Phone

How do I download pictures from a phone and print them at Walmart?

if you are using self-services Kiosk, all you need is going there and plug your phone to download photo you wanted to print to Kiosk machine. It is lot quicker than using App, so I just plug phone there. Many of Walmart locations no longer have photo lab clerk (if your local store does not show up for online print order pick up locations, they do not have clerk), so in that case, you can just go over there, and plug your phone and pick whatever option available to print. If there are clerk, you really should order it online, or download your photo to USB thumb drive or SD card, and give to clerk to print. It is much faster that way than using App (some of walmart store got terrible signal reception anyway to make App work, another reason I do not use App at my local store…)

My phone was stolen. How can I recover the pictures and notes on it?

As you would imagine, you cannot really recover data from your lost or stolen Android phone once it has gone. You can only use the data cached in the cloud by Google, which can include contacts, wallpapers, calendar entries and some account information. It does not automatically back up images, games, movies and other data so you should configure backups right away.Enable sync and backups in Android1. Navigate to Settings, Accounts, then Google.2. Select the account you want to back up.3. Select Gmail, Contacts and Calendar.4. Navigate to Settings and then Backup and reset.5. Select Back up my data.If you want to backup images, videos, music and other data you can set up sync to Google Drive. You have 15GB of space by default and can buy more if you wish.1. Download and install the Google Drive app if it isn’t already on your phone.2. Open Google Drive on your handset and select the three menu lines in the top left.3. Scroll down to Settings and select it.4. Choose how, what, where and when your phone backs up to Google Drive.Google Drive can either automatically back up your files to the cloud or you can do it manually. I tend to allow it to do it automatically but only when connected to Wi-Fi. That way I get all the benefits of auto syncing without burning through my data allowance. There are also apps that can automatically back up your phone to the cloud through Drobox or other cloud storage if you don’t want to use Google Drive. Just remember to set it up now. You can’t recover data from a lost or stolen Android phone once it’s gone unless you have backed it up!

How can I store my pictures in Gmail?

Since you haven’t elaborated on your use case, I’ll try to cover the most popular ones.If you’d like to save a photo temporarily, the old school way is to send an email to yourself with the picture as an attachment. But please don’t do that, it’s no longer 1972! A better choice is to store the photo in Google Drive. Gmail and Google Drive both use the same quota so essentially you’re using up the same space. If you’d like to save a bunch of photos every now and then, better use a folder on Google Drive specifically for this purpose. If you’d like to backup all your pictures, which seems the most likely use case, why don’t you try Google Photos? It’s specifically built for the purpose. Plus, it offers loads of exciting features like unlimited storage, search, automatic face tagging and what not!

Is it possible to retrieve photos from old cell phones?

Thanks for the A2A.Technically speaking, as long as the phone in question is still working, you can retrieve all Data you want, not just photos.Usually, to retrieve Data, in this case photos, from a phone, all you have to do is to plug it to your computer in order to access its internal storage. The moment the phone is connected to your computer, a window or rather a dialog box more or less like this one would appear before you,Thus its internal storage will be accessible, along with all the Data it contains. To directly dive deeper into the storage of the phone, you're going to want to click on “open device to view files” where you could have anything from a mere folder to a whole bunch of folders displayed, depending on how full the phone's storage is and how it's organized.Once you reach that point, I'm sure you can find your photos by yourself and once you do find them, you can either copy them somewhere else or completely move them out of the phone. Now depending on what phone you're talking about, phone makers often release softwares and programs that help make things a little easier for the average consumer, Samsung for instance has Samsung kies and smartswitch, sony has Xperia companion, LG has its pc suite, etc…Such proprietary softwares can help you backup your Data, as well as retrieve it from the phone. But becareful, sony's Xperia companion won't work with an LG phone and vice versa, each phone has its suite.

When I send a CV via email, what should I write on the subject and the content of the email?

Emailing a CV to an employer seems straightforward ‒ until you create a draft and realize you don’t know what to say. As it turns out, there’s more to it than simply attaching your job-application materials. On our blog at TopCV, contributor Laura Slingo has addressed some of the challenges that come with emailing your CV. You can read her full response, but here is a summary:The subject lineBecause recruiters receive so many emails every day, it’s important that your subject line tells them exactly who you are and what your email is for. Write your name, the job title on the advert, and the reference number (if there is one). This will help to make sure that your CV ends up in the right place. The body of the emailIf you’ve been instructed to only send your CV, treat the body of your email as a kind of cover letter. Just like in any cover letter, convey to the employer why you are a good fit for the role and what you have to offer the company. In some cases, a prospective employer will ask you to attach both a CV and cover letter to your email. If this is the case, don’t make the body of your email a duplication of these things. Keep your email brief and mention the essentials: who you are, the job you’re applying for, your contact details and, most importantly, that your CV and cover letter are attached.Saving and attaching your CVFile names and file types are more important than you might think. When sending your CV, make sure that the file name is professional and identifiable: ‘jane-doe-cv’, for example. When it comes to file types, the PDF is not always your friend. Because PDFs cannot be read by applicant tracking systems, it’s best to steer clear of this file type unless it is specifically given as an option. A Word document in .doc or .docx is the safest way to go.TopCV will make sure that the CV you’re emailing is strong. How do I store my photos, videos and other documents in Gmail?

Cool, I too got the same issue… and found the same answer every where i.e either send the data to yourself on your another email or to your friends or just save it to your Google’s drive. But I found one smooth solution within Gmail without using another stuff… so lets’s do itFollow the following steps:Open the Gmail in your computer(sign in). On the left hand side click on more and select create new label. Give the name to your label. E.g “Data”.Now compose new email, yeah don’t worry you don’t need to add the recipient email id’s or some other stuff, just click on the attachment icon & upload the required data.Once the file get uploaded successfully, click on the 3 dots present at the bottom right corner (in the same line of attachment icon). Just click on the label or just hover the mouse over it.Check the label box you just created and(for e.g “Data”) & at last just click on the apply.Hear you go, now you can add multiple files or data in that label any number of times and will be available with you.

Can a phone work without a SIM card? Why or why not?

Well...Let's go with a YES....a phone, that is: the device today known as a smartphone, which employs -in some occassions- a SIM card- can work without a SIM, providing that :If you want to use that device as a phone, cellular phone, then NO, it won't work.  It requires the SIM card to be able to "enable" so to say, the actual phone number and then connect and identify itself to a cellular network and ultimately place and receive cellular phone calls. Now, it you want to use that very same device with or without a SIM card for:WiFi based Internet purposes (navigation, downloading pictures, movies, music)...Music listening.Movie / video watching.Pictures taking with the camera.Any internet based communications (hangouts, skype, etc.    -WhatsApp may depend on having had, at least once, an operational SIM card tough-)Then your phone WILL perfectly work fine, as all this activities, (except perhaps for WhatsApp activation), do not require, nor depend on a SIM card and the functionality this SIM provides.
