I'm 13. How do I save up money for a nose job?

Only invest into a Roth IRA if you don't want surgery until you're 59 1/2. You will need an investment to give you growth over the next several years. I would suggest having your parent open a brokerage account and invest your money into Dogs of the Dow. These are huge companies that have name recognition and pay some fairly nice dividends (income to you (a stock and/or company owner) ) for owning their stock. Research some Dogs of the Dow and pick a handful of your favorite ones.

You can babysit if you like kids, mow lawns, assist neighbors, clean houses etc.

You know what will make you happy. If you are unhappy with your nose and feel you would be happier with a new one then you should go for it (once you are an adult of course). Why live your life in misery if you have the option and the financial backing to change it.

I wish you much luck. Beauty is on the inside more than the outside. I have seen lots of miserable people get instant self esteem and willpower by cosmetic means. Follow your heart and do what is best for you. I wish you the best.

Stop spending money on useless shit you don’t really need. Don’t eat out as much as you do and get control of your spending. Most people if they were to realistically look at their spending each month, they have 25%-50% of what they spend is needless spending. Get control of that and put that towards a car and you will have the money in no time.

How do I save money?!?

You need to realize that if you don't save now, you can't get an apartment or a car or anything else in this life because you're deliberately spending everything you make. That is remarkably stupid (tell yourself so).

Open a savings account, put 1/4 of each check you make into it and don't touch it. If you're tempted to take it out, tell yourself seriously that you're not stupid enough to tank the rest of your life over gutting it. And LEAVE IT IN THERE. By age 25 you should have at least $10,000 in savings to be even borderline OK.

If you think 'I'll get it back next paycheck', well no you won't, it's already gone and won't be back.

You get a checking account that you work with, and a savings account that YOU DO NOT TOUCH. If you can't even do the basics, you've got serious issues.

Considering how much trouble you've already got, do not get a credit card, you're the kind that gets in over your head fast and never gets out, having a bankruptcy on your name almost immediately, and bankruptcies are on your credit record for 7 years.

How a Teenager Can Save Money?

Don't carry much money with you, and you won't spend it on impulse purchases.

Every time you want to buy something like a CD or game, think about it making you wait another month to get what you want to save up for, and what else that money can buy.

The biggest part about being good with money is planning your purchases. It's funny, different people are different with money. I have 3 brothers, and 2 of us tend to save, and have done so since we were very young, and the other two tend to spend.

Good Luck!

Well the obvious answer is to quit smoking so you can save that money, but I know you don't want to hear that.Any time you want to change a behavior, the best thing you can do is to make it as easy as possible to perform that behavior. In the case of personal finances, automation is king.Do your parents put this money into an account for you, or is it in cash?If you can get them to put it into an account, set up an automatic transfer of whatever you want to save from that account into a savings account so you never have access to the money to spend it.You also never have to worry about making the decision again, because it's done for you.I've saved literally hundreds of thousands of dollars by doing this exact thing, just on a larger scale. It works.

What are some easy ways to save money?

hey man, it is kinda easy to save money if you dont have to burn through it on bills. fortunatley i know how to save and that is the only way that i am staying afloat right now. after getting layed off 2 months ago i am depending on my savings to keep my head above water. well for starters, take your lunch and snacks to work with you. get you a good sized lunch bag and pack you a luch. instead of getting the coca cola brand or pepsi brand drinks get store brand drinks get a big variety pack of tater chips. make you a sandwich or something and take it all with you. when i was working i figured it up and when i started doing this i saved my self about 100 dollars a month. now the key is to set a goal for your self. everyone needs atleast 3 months of savings. that covers all your bills. figure up how much you need to survive for 3 months. rent, electic, water, insurance what ever. and you also need an entertainment fund. figure out how much you need to survive (not have a blast) survive from week to week. take what you have left and put 75 percent into your savings and the other 25 perent in your entertainment fund. the trick is to only use what is in the entertainment fund for entertainment. dont dip into the emergency fund to have fun off of. just make a goal and stick to the goal. oh yea, before you start putting away for your emergency fun gather all your bills, ones that are not like electric rent, gather any out standing medical bills, car payment, what every and take what you would put into your emergency fun and knock out these bills. you knock out those bills and then start saving. if you do this (and lord forbid you loose your job) all these little bills will be payed off and you will have 3 months of savings that you can depend on and still have a little in your entertainment fund if you need it. man i know that i rambled on and on but trust me right now now one can afford to throw away money (well some can) save every penny that you can put it away for your future. right now i am living off my savings and it is running to a quick end and i hope that i have a job before then but if i didnt have these savings i probably would not still have a roof over my head or food on the table for my family. good luck with your savings

Hi,I save and then invest around 80% of whatever I earn after deducting my office expenses. For my intro, I am a practicing CA( Similar to CPA of US) since approx 2 years running a small CA firm in a small town of Maharashtra. These are few basics which I follow:Maintenance of different bank accounts:I have 3 bank accounts. One is saving account for my demat transactions and daily expenses which are personal.2nd account is for tax payment and other statutory fees which we are required to pay during incorporation of companies, membership fees of ICAI, tax payment of clients, etc.3rd account is where I receive my fees. This doesn’t have any e banking service as of now. I transfer certain amount per month or even less to savings account for personal expenses. I stay with my parents so I hardly have an expense like rent, etc. This bank account is utilised for investments in mutual funds, shares, etc.Control on personal expenses :My personal expenses are not much. They are less than Rs. 5000 per month ( this includes my formal clothing cost as well).Investment in gold :I know that people don’t prefer investing gold but I earn around 22 to 25% returns per annum by investing in gold.I buy gold biscuits or coins whenever I have extra money after everything.I lend it to the seller who is again my client. He gives me 18% p.a interest at 80% of market value of the item. So this is how I earn around atleast 20% return. And plus, he pays me yearly consultancy fees as well. He is my client. :PLending in my father’s business: My father’s business has cash credit system at 10% p.a from a bank. So even after investing in everything, if I have remaining amount then I lend it to my dad as I don’t earn any interest for balance in my current account. I have saved more than Rs. 50000 on interest in around 2 years by that way.Never preferred credit card .Thumb rule of cash in hand or at bank :And yes, atlast I follow thumb rule of keeping atleast Rs. 50000 in hand for emergency purposes after everything so that I do not require to ask anyone for anything. This is how I save money and yes, I do save decent amount overall though my earning is not much and plus I have fixed office expenses like rent, salary, etc. as well.Regards,Aditya

Whats the best way to save money for my 1st car?

I am doin the same thing! its killin me! I want a 16,000 dollar car, but im only at like 5000. I am trying to get a job, but im only 15. Save your allowances, lunch money, shopping money, all that stuff. I earned about 900 $ put together in a year with just $3 a day for lunch. Another couple hundred from my allowances of $20 per friday. Right now I got a raise! to 25 every friday to 4 dollars everyday for lunch! yay. anyways if your still in HS do that and it helps really. In a few years you can probably get it before college.

best of luck!

What ways can I save up money for a Macbook

Depends on your age. If you are 15 in most states they require a work permit so you don't work too many hours. You can get a job at a fast food place or a pizza place. If you can do it, mow lawns, rake grass. If there is a Senior Citizen Center in your town make a flyer offering to take out trash, shop, walk the dog, anything, wash the car...whatever and they will call you. Make it so it has your number to tear off at the bottom of the page. also you can hang these in other places that allow, just don't enter any wierdo's home. Most Senior Citizens are safe, that's why I say them, they are also the most needy of your services and will pay and love the company too. Just set a rate that is reasonable for eash job and don't overcharge. Good luck. Miss Mary
