Can you purchase at Costco with someone else's card?

You don't show id when you pay. Your card is your id. If your dad's picture isn't on the back, then they won't know it's not you. If they ask for other id, just say you left it at home.

Finally... pay cash. If you try to use a card or cheque in your name, then they'll know you aren't your father.

For your reference, if you go shopping with your dad, they are able to split the bill so you can still purchase as his guest.

If you are still uncertain, why not phone Costco and find out what their policies are? The person at customer service won't remember you and won't ever see you, in fact, so, short of giving your dad's card number, you can be comfortable asking them questions like yours and then you'll know what to expect.

What can someone do if they get a scanned copy of my passport? Will that be able to harm me?

Contrary to one answer to this question, with modern technology and computer software, scanning any form of document whether it be passport, drivers’ license, security pass, has its dangers.Personality (identity) theft (impersonation as it is referred to in the UK) is a very serious problem and with the accuracy of even the most simple of scanners, whether it be in computers or a good quality photocopier, can produce very accurate copies. When uploaded on to a computer, and particularly with the likes of “Adobe Acrobat” and similar image software easily used to produce fraudulent documents.Identity theft is a very serious problem, and can lead to all sorts of fraud. Once they have got a scanned copy of your passport, then can manipulate image, details to create a very similar, if not identical copy. There are certain aspects now like “hologram images” which are far more difficult to copy that the old passport photograph of the 1930–2000 era. but can still be manipulated by computer. As for what a person can do with your now “personality”, this is enormous.Carry out international and local transactions in your name (fraud)Cross-boarder operations using your name and that could include money laundering, the creation of bank-accounts in your name and used for fraudulent purposes (1. above).Currency laundering.Implicating you in crimes which you have not committed, and that covers murder downwards.Creating fraudulent companies, using you passport as a means of identification to show that you are a company director; and in the process implicating you wrongful trading and points 2–4 above.Selling your identity on to third parties so that they too can implicate you in illegal transactions.Guard you passport at all times: it is a very powerful document, not just a verification of identification.

How do large companies manage/generate/print business cards for their employees?

CREATE AN APPROVAL WORKFLOWWith business cards coming in from all different departments, you’ll need to put together an approval workflow to sift through it and make sure you’re only publishing the good stuff. Before you start it’s worth thinking about whether you want to make this process a manual one or automate it. For the most part, automated processes are much easier to share and adhere to, plus they take away any excess time spent having to go through an manually approve everything.Your approval workflow might look something like this:Employee logs into submission portal and sees that they have permission to submit a content ideaThe idea gets approved and they can go ahead and create the contentThe content gets pushed to an assigned editor who approves itThe content then goes into the publish queue, where an assigned publisher can confirm it adheres to the brand guidelinesSourceHaving an approval workflow in place reduces any content bottlenecks you have, and will make sure you’re consistently publishing content that’s on-brand.BRANDLY’S ABILITY TO STREAMLINE THE DESIGN PROCESSAt Brandly, we focus on giving businesses a portal where their employees can upload and edit content from business cards to other company collateral. Each company is given their own place where they can safely store and upload content which can then be accessed by various different staff members. As well as integrating an approval process, this gives large enterprises a one-stop shop for bringing together any material designs that might be needed in different departments or for teams in different parts of the world. This focus on collaboration means teams that work with designers but want to scale their approach to creating employee content can easily do just that while staying on-brand without the extra expense of having to hire and pay a designer every time a new piece of employee content is created.Read More Here: https://www.brandly.com/blog/sca...

Is it illegal to photocopy passports, ID cards, driver's licenses, checks, in the US?

It is not illegal to duplicate such items except for the purposes of fraud. Given the extremely limited number of circumstances in which a high quality color reproduction is necessary, it could be interpreted as intent to defraud. For most any legitimate purpose, a standard black-and-white copy (possibly notarized) is perfectly sufficient.

How do I process a wic at walmart as a cashier?

Its not too difficult. It varies by state, but I will tell you how it is in my state. Get the check, MAKE SURE IT IS NOT SIGNED, (basic WIC) hit the WIC button twice, punch in the dates on the check, put in todays date on the check, and start scanning. Make sure what you scan, is listed on the check. Make sure if it says skim or 1% milk on the check, that they only get skim or 1% milk. Some people will try to sneak it by you. Also make sure the cereal adds up to the proper amount also. A lot of foreigners can't, or don't care to add. Total it, write the dollar amount in the box, and have them sign it. Hit the WIC button, have the check back printed, and then put the check and the receipt in the drawer. If something doesn't go, it will pause the transaction and beep on the CSM palm pilot. Now with Cash value (for fruits and vegetables), hit WIC button, and then hit total for CVB. Put the dates on the check in, put in the dollar amount in and start scanning (or weighing as normal). When they go over the amount, the register will pause and they have to pay the overage right there by normal means. Have them sign it and push the WIC button and then clear, print the check, put the the date on the check, and put the check and receipt in the drawer. Also give them any change that they are due. Lastly for both, be sure to check the signature on the check, with the one on their book. They must have their book, no exceptions. With basic checks, that have a quantity amount on them, like 16 baby foods or 10 can of similac, be sure to count them as you scan, because customers will try to sneak some past you. Its can be complex and the program can be picky (who cares, its a good program), but you will get the hang of it, and if you have questions ask another cashier or your CSM. Good Luck
