I have 2 good answers...if you want stories of published books/real movies/shows/basically anything, go to Fanfiction.net, and you can either make an account for free, so you can keep up with the stories, or just read for fun. If you use that site, I write Twilight stories, my name is Dot823, all you have to do to find me is put that in the keyword section of search and change it to search for authors. My other suggestion is Fictionpress.net where you can read stories people have written NOT about already used characters. It's alike to Fanfiction, except for authors' own stories. You can make an account htere too At both places, you can also write stories, 3 days after you make an account, or you can review a story while in it...

Okay, first of all make up your mind which stream you wanna get into. Is that Direction? Screenwriting? Dialogue writing? Lyrics?. Whichever.You have to make a short film on what you're good at portraying. Suppose, if you want to be a writer, write a story. Learn screenwriting from internet or hire a screenwriter to get your screenwriting done. Get an assistant director(someone who has worked for a movie in direction dept) and tell him your story; obviously you should be the one producing it. Ask if he could direct your short film. Or you yourself direct it by learning filmmaking on internet.Get an appointment with a director with whom you'd like to work with. Show him/her what you have for them(the short film). If they like it, then you will be working with them. Some of them(sorry most of them) may even say they already have a lot of people with them. Don't be disappointed. Repeat the first thing again. Make another short film.If you work with a pro(ex: Yogaraj Bhatt, Suri, etc), you'll learn what you should do and how films are made. If you work with a director who has no idea of what filmmaking is (of course there are a lot of such directors. They don't deserve to be called directors, let me name them BROKERS), you'll learn what you should not do. I've been through both of the scenarios. And I don't regret the latter.After some short films, you'll eventually give up the idea of working under any director. You think of being an indie filmmaker.Be a person who spends a lot of time researching on a particular field which the movie subject is all about.
