im on jpay.com im sending money to my brother, but i never done this and before and under category i dont know what to choose. It says payment category; offender or offender restitution. Which do i choose i just want to put money on his books so he can have money to buy like snacks or whatever. plz help.

hey well basicly if it not paper you cant send it less it a care package and money it has to be a money order(DONT SEND CASH LIKE A LETTER!!!!!!!!!!!) you can send him pics(but they cant be nude or showing your lady parts but you can be in lingerie and stuff),poems,books,sexy letters,(not to sexy) REMEMBER THE GUARDS READ EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!! some even take pics and stuff um but what you can and cant send also depends on his crime and the facility he at. his crime also decides the time it takes to check the letters like to inspect it. it hard to send things but it all depends on what fits you two and wat makes both you happy jus ask him wat he would like? and put your own creative touch on it a kiss mark, perfume, a little drawing lyrics to a song you know things that let him forget he in there! my boy been locked up for 7 yrs this his last yr he gets out in dec. and yours only 2 months let me tell you girl letters get harder gifts get harder not to repeat the same thing but the greatest gift is a visit i have a 7 yr old son and my boy been locked up for 6 years of my son life and the visits are so emotional but there the most treasured ppl gonna hate jus let em they aint you . a real girl waits for the man she loves ppl make mistakes and ppl have every ability to change it jus takes time and a good person on their side jus dont say your down if your truely not that could tear a person up inside stay true stay you and keep your head up the lil things are the ones that count the most focus on the future not the past ! hope this helps GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Books but they have to come from the publisher . So money will be spent . Best bet would be to contact the unit and ask . Rules vary from prison to prison . The books can't be gang related or sex related . Atleast thats how it is in state prison , you will have to contact them for information cause like i said , rules vary from unit to unit and jail to jail . If you want you could write her a letter telling her happy birthday and i donno about there but here you can send b-day cards . If she is gonna be in lock up for months or years , you can put money on her books for commisary and put money on her phone account so she can make phone calls . If you do that it will mean alot to her . Trust me . I not only work at a prison but i have a brother locked down at one .
