How Can I Set Inbox Mail In Date Wise Format

How to prevent date-wise grouping in yahoo mail view?

I didn't change any settings, as of today I am seeing this grouping and really dislike it. I don't see any setting to turn it off either. Its grouping like this: "Monday", "Earlier in 2014" etc. Can this be turned off?

How can I search Yahoo email by Date range?

Hi,

You can sort your emails by date received using the sort tool described here:

http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...

If that doesn't work for you, you can use the 'Search Mail' option and search by the date you're specifically looking for. Here is an article with more information:

If you don't like this change, please feel free to provide feedback to the Mail Product team here:

Hope that helps!

When I search for emails my Outlook inbox, the results no longer show the name of the sender. How can I fix this?

I think you may be confusing Search results with Inbox’s Default View. If Search has ever been formatted to your satisfaction, then my guess is you can probably return it to function that way again in Preferences/Settings.Otherwise you’ll need to either live with it how it works, or try to re-arrange Search fields in Settings… or third, create a Macro that produces a Report with exactly the data and presentation you prefer. Quite often in my experience teaching MS Office and Outlook (one component of Office), as versions updated, users tended to lose track of settings available now only via the Ribbon menu.So my fourth suggestion is to explore the Ribbon and Help resources to maybe find the exact presentation you want. I know that I typically spent an hour or so re-configuring marginally setup MS Office programs after a major update or re-install.

How do I reply formally to an email saying "i acknowledge the receipt of this mail"?

Depending on how formal my message needs to be, I would send one of the responses below.Option 1: “Thank you for confirming on (insert the date you received their acknowledgment) that you have received my email that was sent on (insert the date you sent the original email).”Option 2: “Acknowledged.”Option 3: “I’ve received your email.”Option 4: “Thank you.” and sign off with “Best.”A very formal message like option 1 can be used when dealing with messages that need strict documentation - medical billing, business deals, or legal matters. Including the date along with confirming receipt of the email eliminates any doubts that the message was received and gives you further documentation.Normally, you won’t need to be as formal as option 1. Using one of the other options will work just fine.

How can I search e-mails in MS Outlook by the day of the week?

Yes! You can do this very easily in MS Outlook.Outlook’s Search function is actually pretty “smart” and can even understand some common "English-like" terms concerning dates. Some Examples of Extended date term options:today / tomorrow / yesterdaythis week / next week / last weekthis month / next month / last monththis year / next year / last yearMonday, Tuesday… SundayJanuary, February...DecemberHere are some examples on how to use this in a Search:received: Yesterday ← Messages received yesterdaysent: last month ← Messages sent last monthreceived: January ← Messages received in January of any yearsent: Wednesday ← Messages sent on this WednesdayNow, the only thing about this is that it seems that the “day of week” search syntax only searches the CURRENT week. So, if for example you do a “Received: Wednesday” in Outlook search, it shows you all the Emails that were sent this past Wednesday. It does NOT show you Emails that are earlier then this week that were also sent on Wednesdays. I haven’t found a way to do that yet, but will continue to search.I have a posting on my website that provides some info. around Outlook’s Search capabilities that may be helpful:Finding Messages using Outlook Search TermsGood Luck!Regards,Dr. Michael Einstein

When I copy a small table from Excel and paste it into Gmail while composing an email, why do I lose the table format?

If you are using the Chrome browser, you will lose your table format. You have two options to try: 1. use another browser, like Internet Exploreror Firefox. 2. copy the spreadsheet first to Microsoft Word. Make sure it looks right in Word. Then make sure your Gmail is using rich text format. You do thatby checking the formatting bar at the bottom of the message window where you are typing your email. On the right side of the bar, the words "Plain text"will be shown if it is plain text. If it is rich text, the area on the right side of the bar will be blank. Finally, copy the spreadsheet from Word to Gmail. The formatting should be maintained in Gmail. Here is a link to a Google forum where this is discussed:https://productforums.google.com...Good luck!
