How Can I Talk To My Dad

Should I talk to my dad?

Your question, and your writing, do indicate one thing above all. Anger. It may be deeply hidden, you may have suppressed it to the point where you're not aware of it anymore. You are, however angry. This anger only hurts one person in your life, and that's yourself. You start building out a hatred that will guide you through your life, often leading to sub optimal decisions. The best thing you can do for yourself is to 'feel and deal'. Know what you are feeling and learn how to deal with it. If this involves talking to your father or completely shutting him out, that is up to you. From my own personal experience, somesolitude from parents can help while you're sorting through your feelings, and it may give you the room you need to work out many things in life and focus on your studies. When it comes to the money for college. TAKE IT and never look back. There are only strings attached if you let there be strings. And it may be what eventually brings you two together after the anger is gone and life has taken a turn for the better. School is expensive, and no one your age is expected to have that money already. if someone wrote you a check and said you'd won the lottery, you'd probably accept it. This doesn't have to be different.

What can I talk to my dad about on the phone?

Talking is a two way street. Sometimes the conversation flows and other times it does not. Sometimes you could talk forever and other times you don't want to talk. As someone that has been constantly apart from many loved ones, here's what I do...If the other party is not too talkative, I am happy just saying what I have done that day/week, telling a story or two and keeping it shorter. Telling a story may make them recall something, something mundane like what you've been doing is better then nothing as long as it's not too long. Give them a chance to talk of course, don't drone on too long.Living far away, I also ask at times if now is a good time to talk, or when would be better. I also like to try and leave funny voice mails, just for fun. It's no fun to talk to someone who is always boring. This is awkward, I'm doing all the talking here and nothing from you, so did I tell I just left my old bike unlocked downtown the other day? It wasn't working well and the rear gears seized so I parked it in frustration and walked away with a chuckle. (I paused here hoping that this little story would prompt you, but it didn't, so I briefly tell a little something more & exit). I'm going to go adjust the brakes on my new bike, they seem to like squeeking... so will talk to you later. Ciao!

How do I talk to my dad?

It depends on the situation , did you do something to annoy him or make him angry , did you do something that embarrassed him in front of a lot of people. Did you not listen to your mother , or did you fight with your brother. But you can always say sorry and talk to him in a gentle manner . He will eventually understand and start talking to you again .but you have to ask for forgiveness. Best of LUCK . HAPPY READING.

I want to talk to my dead dad but how?

Aww, sorry about all you've been through at such a young age.
I lost my Dad at 59 and I was 34 to cancer.
Yours must of been more of a shock since I knew mine was dying.
I had one dream 3 months later.
I slept all night in my recliner chair (something I don't often do.)
I kept hearing a Garth Brooks song and I was feeling like you do when you first wake up, but I was a Saturday and I couldn't or didn't want to get up.
I really feel like my dad was communicating with me.
The song came from the movie "Frequency" that came out about 3 or 4 years b/f he died.
I think dreams are the one way we hear from loved ones that we've lost way too soon.
Just know that your "connection" may come that way as well and be patient.
Let your Dad's spirit and love fill your heart, and you won't feel so far apart from him, until you see him again.
Take care sweetie.

Can i talk to my dad on a ouija board?

No, The Bible has a few things to say about engaging in activities of this nature:

Leviticus 19:31 - "Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God."

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 - "Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD."

Isaiah 8:19 - "When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?"

Galatians 5:19-20 "The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."

Occultists will insist that the boards work by allowing spirits of the dead to move the pointer in answer to queries. Scientists have yet to prove that the pointer is moved by anything other than the living people touching the pointer. In fact, spirits of the dead seem to get extremely confused when participants are blindfolded and at that point the Ouija board suddenly ceases to work correctly.

"Playing" with a Ouija board is engaging in occultism and is definitely not an option for a Christian. Such activity is clearly forbidden in the Bible. No matter how innocent it may seem, it must be remembered that Ouija boards can be an opening for demons to invade our hearts and minds. All demonic activity is under the control of Satan, whom Peter describes in no uncertain terms: “Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (2 Peter 5:8). The scriptural example for dealing with items that pertain to the occult (books, music, jewelry, occultic games, and other occult objects) is to confess involvement with them as sin and burn the items, safely of course (Acts 19:18-19).
