How important is it to look popular on facebook?

It's not important at all, unless you want it to be. You shouldn't worry about what other people think of you too much, and popularity isn't everything. Don't feel pressured to try to appear popular on Facebook, or anywhere for that matter. If it's important to you because it's what you truly want, great. But don't do it just because everyone else seems to be popular on Facebook. Do what makes you happy.

Do you think Facebook is a important thing in life?

not necessary, but if any of the below questions results in Yes, then you might want to have an account at it -a. Do you want to remain connected with your pals from school, college, workplace and cousins  - just to get updates on what's happening in their life and that too without making an effort on calling or chatting with them on a regular basis?b. Do you generally miss wishing on special occasions due to so many dates to remember?c. Do you sometimes want to broadcast your views or get opinions/feedback on any stuff but only want it to restricted to specific group of people - say around 50-100 in number?d. Are you looking at starting of your own and do not want to spend on expensive marketing channels?These are just few of the reasons why I am on Facebook. It is not I am actively posting on daily basis but it still works for me for the above reasons.
