How Can I Transfer Vuze Plus To My New Laptop

How do you play .avi files on VLC player?

Download and install VLC Media Player (see the Resource section below). Agree to the terms of use, and open the program. Click on the "Media" menu, and select "Open File." Locate your AVI file in the finder window, and open the file in VLC. Click on the "Media" menu, and then select "Convert/Save" to bring up the input file window and begin the transcoding process. Find the file in the "My Computer" side screen if your file is not already selected, and highlight it. Click on "Convert/Save." Click on the box next to "File" in the upper-left corner of the "Stream Output" window. Rename your output file to keep both your old AVI file and new VLC video file. Select an "Encapsulation" method (e.g., MPEG). Click on the arrow next to the "Custom" button on the right side of the screen to bring up more options. Click on "Save." At times the AVI files may fail to play on the VLC media player you have excitedly downloaded. Do not get annoyed since you can also convert AVI to play on VLC with simple clicks using the steps here.

Is uTorrent safe and is it ok to purchase uTorrent plus ?

I have downloaded utorrent..and it's pretty good..but recently a friend of mine said..it can cause viruses on your pc..also most of the torrents i download are from kat.ph (kickass torrents)
Is that a safe site? i mean are the torrents available there legal? also...since these torrents are eating up a lot of space on my laptop which has only 125 gb drive...i want to transfer them on to my external hard disk..but it says i need to convert the files first... i tried to look up some online sites to convert these files and couldn't find any! So on the utorrent site says i need to buy utorrent plus...which is like 24.95 USD per year...is it safe to buy this? and is it legit? Thanks! :)

My brother keeps downloading and it makes our internet slow?

My older brother downloads constantly and makes our internet extremely slow. He denies it, but whenever I take a peek on his computer "Vuze", or "Limewire" is minimized. Whenever I ask him to stop, he gets mad and tells me to get out of his room. Its pretty annoying when your playing xbox with your friends or browsing the internet. Also, when I download things, he yells at me to stop. My parents have told him to stop, but he never does. Oh and all the internet stuff is in my room. Is there a way I can limit how much he can download stop it completely?
