How can I find out how many pictures I have on my computer?
I am getting ready to buy a new computer and I need to know how much space my pictures are taking up so I can decide on how much space I need on my new laptop. I have over 200 folders some with a lot of pictures and some with a little. I have windows 7 but I cant seem to figure out a way to tell me the total amount of pictures I have... Can some one help me please? :)

How do I upload pictures to my computer with my Cannon Powershot A610?
The camera MAY need to be turned on to view mode (where you can view the pictures on the camera). This may then start the scanner and camera wizard. If not, try another USB port or try plugging the camera into another computer. If the camera is not being recognized at all, on any computer, contact Canon's tech support. In the meantime, purchase a memory card reader so you can transfer the pictures to your computer.
How do I view my MRI Pictures on a CD?
Under My Computer, right click the CD and select open or explore, and look for the JPG files. Those should be the plain images that should open in Windows Photo Gallery. (Or they may be a different type such as PNG or TIFF). I need to decrypt some picture files on a Acer computer. How can I hack the password?
My boyfriend has encrypted these files on our computer. He says they are just "our photos" and that it is for privacy if others use the computer. BUT I know we didnt take 60 photos....AND he refuses to decrypt them for me to see them also. They have a password on them now. Also you can mouse over them and it tell you when they were last added to/veiwed and it was a VERY recent date - actualy it was the date I was out of town so It makes me wonder if the girl I think he was cheating on me with is on our computer. Someone please help me decrypt these files. I need to know whats going on. I have had problems with him with this stuff before. PLEASE no advice or what I should do or comments about my life.... I also read your responses regarding your need for this and lack of malicious intent.While i agree you should always ask for permission, if you cannot there are other ways to get the image.Sprout Social pulls any instagram picture into stream with a specific hashtag, or from a location, or any that mentions/tags you. From the stream in the smart inbox, you can actually just drag and drop these pictures to save them. Can I still see the pictures on my computer without an internet connection?
Yes you can. The pictures on your computer are stored on the hard drive which is in the computer. No internet connection is needed to view them. If you have pictures in facebook, instagram, or any online service like twiter you will not be able to see them. The only time this may be differen’t ( not to confuse you ) is if you use a service that sync’s them and stores them both on your computer and in the cloud services like google drive or dropbox, then you can see them on your computer when your not online.

if you've lost the cd, you can download the software from vivitar's website. Or, just plug in your camera to the computer. the wizard will automatically recognize your camera. install the camera by choosing the "yes this time only" meaning windows will search for a software compatible to your camera, on the internet (if you have internet connection).
My computer won't read the Kodak Picture CD I just put in and I am doing a project where I need to photos.
ok, have you tried restarting your computer? Take the disc out, shut it off. Turn it back on and wait a minute for everything to boot up. Then put the disc back in. Also, if it still doesnt open when you put the disc in go to "my computer". (not mine haha-you know what i mean i hope). It should show your drives. One will be the CD drive. It should show if a disc is in it or not. Click on it. The disc should start up and open. If this still doesnt work try another disc in it, maybe a CD or something just to see if it will play. You might have a bad drive. Probably should have asked at first, has the drive ever worked before? Have you been able to open up picture discs before? Do you have access to another computer?
