Would you rather win a bet or win a friend?
If I was in this situation, I would rather win a friend, because what is the point of winning a bet? A bet, is once in a life time, but a friend, can stay with you, through thick and thin all the way throughout your life. Also, a friend will help you, when you need help, but a bet couldn't help you with anything.
How do I renege on a bet with my best friend (I just don't have the money I owe her)?
I have to take the other side of this. You cannot renege. You have to, somehow, pay up. Adjust the timeline, the instalments, whatever, but do not renege. Why?Because I suggest that had your friend lost the bet, she would have paid right away.So reneging in this scenario is the same as stealing from her. Is that OK?Didn’t think so.Had this happen to me with a (he was, still is, I am sure, a spectacular asshole) bet over the Superbowl one year. He pestered and pestered, until I finally agreed, $50.00 fine. Obviously, I won. He did not want to pay up (we worked in the same office). I KNEW FOR SURE that had I lost, his $50 would have been on his desk on Monday morning.Therefore, his not paying me was not an option. Took me almost a year, and what finally did it was I told him I would start telling everyone in the office what a loser he was, and was that really worth $50?I did not need the money. It was the principle of the thing. So that is my take on paying bets. It is more important than paying off loans, I think.

im a 22 year old female, and my boyfriend is 21. I made a bet with my bestfriend, we are always making stupid bets, weve known eachother forever. i told her i could make my boyfriend a passable girl next halloween and nobody at the halloween party would know he was really a guy. nobody at all. she says there is no way a guy could pass as a girl. that they dont look enough or act enough like girls do. my boyfriend is pretty skinny and he's just an inch taller than me. he's 5'5.my boyfriend said he would go along with whatever. he's cool with it as long as he gets half the money. the best part is i have 9 months to prepare him for it. whats the best way to make him passable. what should he wear. how far should i take this. is it possible to hide his features enough. how do i get him to act more like a girl so nobody finds out. if one person realizes he is a guy , i lose the bet. let me know. thanks. if you have to put links down, that could help too. i dont know. ill take any advice i can get . should i let his hair grow out. shave legs, etc. do i teach him how to act like a girl? makeup? please be as specific as possible, i really want to win this bet. pictures would help to, and i promise to post pics after its all done. thanks so much. ps.. i thought i would add to this question. nobody is giving me ideas on costumes he should wear. and should i actually get his hair styled as a girl. and i think i need to teach him how to act like a girl too. he is close to my size , im pretty sure he could fit into my clothes for practice. also feel free to email me or im me. i would appreciate it. thanks

so me and my boyfriend make all these kinds of sex bets i guess you could say like "i bet i can go longer than you can" or "i bet i can rip your clothes off before you can"..... and this time our bet is to prove who loves each other more. What is a game/bet I can always win against my friends?
I’ve got a few for ya.Bet your friend that they can’t stand with their left or right shoulder, side (waist/hip) and foot against the wall, and lift their other foot up without losing contact with the wall. It’s not possible to keep balance so if they accept, you will win.Have your friend(s) put their palms together. Now, make them bend their middle fingers down, either way is fine. Lastly, bet them that they cannot while keeping this position and without moving their middle fingers up or palms apart, move their ring fingers. They will not be able to whatsoever. Another win.For this one, grab a bottle, and some paper you can fold or crush to be small enough to enter the opening of the bottle. Place the paper (in smaller form) in front of the bottle’s opening. Now, bet your friend that they cannot blow the ball into the bottle. They will not be able to, due to the blow increasing air pressure inside the bottle, thus forcing air out and the ball away.For this you need an egg an some salt. This doesn’t always work but it’s very likely you will win. Bet your friend that they can’t balance the egg upwards but you can. They will try and most likely fail. Now, you use the salt, pouring some on the table surface (flat tabletops are best for this obviously), and place the egg on the salt. The blocks(?) of salt are very cubic and will form a pedestal for the egg. Should I place a $100 bet online for my friend?
My friend wants me to place a $100 bet for him at Bodog.com because he does not have computer. He wants me to use my money to cover the bet and place the bet for him. The only problem for me is, if you win the bet, Bodog mails a check to you and it takes up to 30 days. I can’t wait for 30 days to receive my money and I would like to use it for personal things. I asked my friend to give me his money so I can place a bet for him. He got mad and yelled at me because he said he shouldn’t and he doesn’t feel he has to wait 30 days. My friend said I can live without the $100 for a month because $100 is not a lot of money. I would like for my friend to win money. He is correct, I can really live without $100 but what’s the right thing to do here? Use my money to place a bet or should he use his own money to place a bet?

I would split it no question but you will probably get some surprising answers.I had an experience like that about 13 years ago.We had 14 women in my office lottery pool and played $2/week.Two of those women had dropped out a few months back, one became pregnant and not sure about the other.So on my 37th birthday we won the encore draw of $250,000 which divided by 12 was a bit over $21,000 each. I was finally able to make a down payment on a townhouse after renting my entire life. It changed my life because I was going to be homeless in 2 WEEKS! I had to relocate for this new job because I didn't have a vehicle. It took me 2+hours one way by public transportation. I was very grateful…as you can imagine.I felt bad for the other 2 coworkers that had previously dropped out, I suggested that all 12 of us chip in $200 each so we could share with both of them, especially since one was having a baby soon.
