How Can They Make Another Bioshock Game If Each Reality Is An Alternate Version Of One Another

BioShock Infinite Religious References?

comstock was apparently visited by an archangel who told him to build columbia.
is this not an ark for another time'' is said a few times, a salvation/heaven to the people from the sodom below. when you first enter, the voice in the rocket pod says ''halelujah'' immediately connotating Heaven and jesus alike. Comstock really tries to make his own religion and twists the minds of the people with the propaganda and media used, he is a self-proclaimed prophet and makes it clear by the statues and radio broadcasts and posters around the city.

SPOILERS BELOW;
there are many baptism scenes, in the lighthouse there is a wash basin with a sign ''wash thee of thy sins'' this is extremely significant as you are drowned at the end during bookers baptism after wounded knee to stop the existence of comstock, you are then baptised upon entering columbia and comstock in killed and drowned in a wash basin by his alter being. the game portrays the baptism scenes and christianity in that sense negatively as the whole plot revolves around the creation of comstock caused by booker refusing a baptism and ridding himself of his past sins.

Bioshock Infinite ending explanation?

I beat the game recently, and my jaw dropped in the ending. SPOILERS: I went to Rapture and realized all the parallels, Ryan is like Comstock, Jack is like Dewitt, little sisters are like Elizabeth, Big Daddies are like Songbird who protect the girl, Dr. Lutece is like Dr. Tendbaum who looked over the girl(s). But I am still lost on the whole debt, different tears, Elizabeth is the daughter of Comstock/Booker? Can someone just sumarize the whole ending, because it is confusing and hard to explain to friends. I hate these whole different universes and realities stories.

What if a new BioShock game is made, what themes or political messages do you think will it contain? Do you think that it will be set in space, an alternate universe, or in a very modern setting?

Well…The first Bioshock played with the idea of a runaway capitalist society, where every single service had to be bought and paid for, and social darwinism ran rampant; The poor lived at the bottom of the barrel, and the rich were free . At the same time, leaps and bounds were made in the field of science, architecture, and artists were free to express themselves however they saw fit.Rapture was a utopia for some, and a watery grave for others. The third Bioshock centered its provocations toward social, racial, and economic segregation, where the rich and white held dominion, and the poor and non-Caucasian were disadvantaged workers. The society also centers itself on religious power, it’s head of state is perceived as a messiah figure, who shall lead everyone to salvation.Columbia is just a bad place all around; Yes, it’s engineering feats are amazing, but at the cost of freedom and opportunity.… One could say that Rapture is a town with too much freedom, while Columbia is a town with no freedom.Rapture: Anarchy, capitalist, hypocritical socialism.Columbia: Monarchy, fascism, authoritarianism. As such, Bioshock 4 should be like this:socio-political subject matter: Transhumanism, industrialization, and non consensual surveillance and monitoring.Setting: Retro 80’s.Story: A small group of scientists have developed a virtual utopia. They kidnap people and upload their minds into the world(think: Tron), and are given everything they’ve ever wanted out of life… Until one rogue scientist hijacks the program, subjecting the inhabitants to torturous tests and brainwashing. You are one such inhabitant, attempting to free yourself from the simulation. Along the way, you make use of glitches in the system, which act as plasmids/tonics for your use.Free yourself, help or harm others, and explore the seemingly pristine worlds of peoples inner desires. What do you think?

Can someone explain the story of Bioshock Infinite?

I just finished playing the game last night and........what is the game about? why does booker doesn't remember he is comstock? so booker sold elizabeth (ana) to himself so later on he would got to safe her from himself to wipe the debt to who? what is elizabeth (ana) is she a product of science or where do her powers come from? does the AD on booker's hand means Ana DeWitt? can she travel to time and space because the first time she opens the tear the movie theater was playing Revenge of the Jedi? so the only war to kill someone is to kill him in many dimensions? why do people killed in 1 world remember they were killed in another one? what is songbird? does he have feelings? is he allergic to water? WHO ARE ROSALIND LUTECE AND ROBERT????? is rosalind lutece elizabeth's real mother what was comstock's plan? do people in columbia think the prophet is god? at the end all the elizabeths (ana) killed booker? and if they did would elizabeth died or you have to killed booker in another dimensions? is this one of those games if you are evil the story changes? i think i did good actions would that change the story? what are the vigors? are they just there to show you this is bioshock? was comstock evil or bad? is booker death? the last scene after credits is real? i never played the previous bioshock games DO I HAVE TO PLAY PREVIOUS GAMES TO UNDESTAND THIS ONE?!?!?!?!?!?! what up with the ending? is that good or bad thing what happend?

i can see why this game is called "infinite" this game confuses me more than my girlfriend on her period

Bioshock Infinite Ending Question!?

How come in the ending, Elizabeth acted as if she never cared about Booker. She drowned him without even saying "I love you" or "I'm sorry." She's his daughter, for god's sake! Am I missing something? Was she using him the whole time and never really loved him? (Like a father.) I don't see why they couldn't go back to their normal universe and live happily ever after! After all, Elizabeth can open tears! Why not go live in a world where Columbia doesn't exist?? They walked into a random tear earlier in the game!! Why not do it in the end?? The whole game, Elizabeth and Booker had a growing relationship, but then in the end, her and her "alternate dimension" clones drowned him without even a word?? And yes, I know that Booker is Comstock, but why not go to a world where Booker didn't accept the baptism??? After all they had been through, Elizabeth acted like she didn't even know him! I just don't understand!!!
PS: Is there any room for a Bioshock Infinite sequel? Because I loved Booker and Elizabeth in the game; their characters were great together! In the ending of the game, they drowned Booker, which therefore killed Elizabeth AND Comstock AND Booker. But they made the choice to kill Booker, so there has to be another dimension where they DON'T kill him, so Elizabeth and Booker still live! I hope they make a sequel with those two characters together, because I think they made the perfect pair.

And what's with the whole "post-credits" cut scene? Does it show that in a different world, Booker kept Elizabeth? Does that mean there CAN be a sequel???

Please answer all my questions to the best of your ability! Thanks!!!

What do you think is the better game franchise? BioShock or Fallout?

Fallout, hands down.Bioshock has an interesting story and a few great characters like Big Daddies and Little Sisters. The artwork is nice and the original had a nice little twist ending. Bioshock 2 felt a little re-hash-y and Infinite didn’t even really feel very much like a Bioshock game to me, just another steampunk open-world game that was randomly assigned to be a Bioshock game. I also wasn’t much hooked by Elizabeth and Booker from that game, but I know Bioshock fans will scoff at that.Fallout has a consistent storyline that spans 5 canonical games, three spinoffs and at least a dozen DLCs. Virtually every one of them is chock full of interesting characters. You can generally play as good or evil as you feel like, Fallout 4 being the exception. You can mod the game yourself or download one of hundreds of others from the well-established community. You can literally spend weeks doing things other than the main storyline quest. You can build your own settlement. Some of the DLCs are better than most companies’ entire games. Old World Blues DLC for Fallout:New Vegas may be my favorite thing I’ve ever played. As to the claim that Bioshock is more popular, the last Bioshock (Infinite) was their best-seller. It sold 11 million copies in total (over four years), which is nothing to sneeze at. But Fallout 4 sold 12 million copies…. in the first 24 hours after its release. Bioshock also has much less of a connected fan base due to its lack of modability. There are far fewer Bioshock sites than Fallout ones. The replayability of Fallout games is off the charts. I was literally finding side quests and interesting locations a year after I finished these games, and new reactions based on how I played. Bioshock might as well be on rails, it’s like riding a roller coaster cart through a Ayn Rand haunted house.Bioshock was a great game. But it doesn’t hold a candle to Fallout.

Bioshock Infinite ending questions. Spoiler.?

Its stuff like this that confuse me. I was very unsatisfied with the ending as it was very depressing. not happy at all. So whats with all the door stuff? Is booker 2 different people in the same universe or what? Why did he have to die in the end? why can Elizabeth open portals and stuff is she magic or something? why did all the Elizabeths disappear when he died? did they go back to their universes to live their normal lives? is Elizabeth still alive living her normal life without interference from booker? I am just really confused and I need someone to explain what just happened in this game. the ending was a huge disappointment for me because it doesn't even matter what happened during the course of the game. Its just like boom game over. And after the credits? what is booker still alive in another universe with anna and they both live regular lives from there on happily ever after? So can someone explain what happened in this game. Much appreciated,

P.S. How the heck did they get the city to fly? im pretty sure its more than just hot air ballons. wont they run out of fuel or something eventually. Thanks.
