What surahs are good to read to protect you from evil eyes?

Salam.

Recite "Surah al-Naas" protects you from evil doings. As well as "Surah al-Falaaq" And "Surah al-Fatiha" to keep away from Allah's anger and your evil eye to demolish.

Duas:

-I Seek Forgiveness Of Allah, (Who Is) “There Is No God Save Allah” The Ever living, The Everlasting And Unto Him I Turn Repentant.

-O Lord, verily, I am overcome, so help me.

-O Allah, drive the misfortune away from me.

-Recite this for worries of looking at something evil: O Allah, if my sins have blackened my face, I turn to You through Your prophet, Muhammad, the prophet of mercy, blessings of Allah be on him and on his children, (and through) Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, Husayn and the (rest of the) Imams (of the Ahl ul Bayt), peace be on all of them.

Also remember that Shaytan is making you do this, so recite this powerful dua:

Allah! I seek protection from the accursed Satan!"

My sister is prettier than me and it's killing my self-esteem. What should I do?

I should go ahead and say my sister is also prettier than me. And it used to give me a bitter taste in my mouth.I am the youngest one in my family, and as siblings, we look after each other. Well, normally the elder ones were in charge and had the responsibility to protect and provide the younger. So since I was a child, I was bitchy and demanding and I wanted things to go my way, including people’s affection.Everything went well my way for first couple years of my life, until I came to an age to realize who is the prettiest of all. I still tried to fool myself that I was still the best, and the most beautiful, and that’s why I am my mom’s favorite child. But that trick did not work so well with outsiders. My sister is astonishingly beautiful and everyone liked her. All the boys in schools and college. She had many male friends came to the house and hung out. Some of them were handsome too. And all of their attention went to my sister.I didn’t take that so well.I was jealous with her look. I tried to get people’s attention. I hoped my sister’s male friends liked me more than her. When they were trying to talk to my sister, I jumped into the conversation and started talking, trying to make them like me.I pretended that I didn’t care about her followers. I also acted mean to my sister. I hated the fact that I had no follower while she had a bunch of them. I hated the fact that she didn’t need to try so hard but people still liked her. I hated that she was a ball of joy, while I was grumpy the whole time.I wish I could tell you somehow I figured it out and I started to treat her well, but in fact I didn’t. Not until I grew up and I managed to nurture myself and my self-esteem.My sister is still breathtakingly beautiful, but she didn’t have a good marriage. She divorced and is a single mom while I am living happily with my husband. I feel sad for her.You see, if you love yourself enough, you will not need to worry about people’s affection. And you will not even care about the look. It is not about how pretty you are, but it is about how happy you are.Enjoy your time with your sister, feel happy for her pretty look while you still can. And DO NOT think about yourself as the uglier, which reduces your self-esteem as you are doing right now. Focus on what you have, build your confidence and knowledge. You are loved. You are pretty. And you know it.It starts with you.

Yes, evil eye has the potential to destroy an entire kingdom in the age of kings and queens. In modern context, it can cause accidents, unneccessary grief and sorrow, divorce, break love, break crush and relationships, sudden fever, fatigue or loss of energy, laid off from job, unexpected expenses. Like you get sick or fever for no scientific reason, loss in business, gadgets malfunction, unexpected expenses, relationships in trouble and so on. Also jealous and envy people exists everywhere and avoid discussing your job, house, crush, income, your desires and plans in life with such people. Most of the times, its not evil eye, but your own astrological affliction, which is giving you bad time, However, if you believe if you have enemies or nasty people around you, it is better to consult a good astrologer for evil eye issues. There are different school of thought about evil eye. What can we do so we can be protected from jinns?

Stay Clean. Jinns, I heard, are attracted to dirt.

Recite Ayat-ul-Kursi. That protects from such things and the 4 Quls.

Rest Allah knows the best.

How can I stop sexual thoughts and clean my mind?

This was what Buddhist monks and nuns are taught.I did it and it worked so well I freaked.Imagine someone you fancy as their bodily parts. Now imagine a row of large buckets.Next imagine putting their skin in the first bucket.Put their brain and lungs and eyes and other organs in the next bucket.Put their muscles and sinew and cartlidge and tendons and bone marrow in the next bucket. Now put their blood and mucus and snot and urine and faeces in the next. Finally odds and sods like eyes snd hair and nails in the last bucket. Now ask yourself which bucket sexually arouses you the most.Which bucket contents are the most attractive? This is the body you fancy is it not.Nothings changed other than the arrangement of the bits. The bits themselves haven’t changed in the slightest.Stay aware of the contents of the buckets, allow revulsion to arise. If you need to focus on a particular bucket to create revulsion do it.Don’t worry about the exact content of each bucket. It’s just a tool.Put whatever you want in each bucket.A simpler way is to visualise the person with their skin piled at the side of them. You can then continue this as your meditation.Every time you see someone recall what’s inside the skin, imagine the skin has gone .Every time your mind wanders away or you get distracted recall the exercise and start doing it again with the people around you. This is mindfulness of the parts of the body as they are.I did this diligently for a week or two.All sexual craving ceased as did finding any body attractive.I’d been married for a couple of years by then and I did it as an experiment. It worked dramatically well. But after getting spooked I chose to view my wife as I had before (beautiful) and that was fine.I’d be very interested to know how you get on if you try it.

Relationships: How should one protect his girlfriend from bad eyes or people in India?

Well its true, I did this in the Delhi Metro. One day me and one of my (good looking) friend, not Girlfriend decided we'll go to Old Delhi both of us were about to leave Delhi soon, for good and were full on experiencing what Delhi food was all about. Us being huge foodies . We took the Metro. I had gotten too used to people staring at her, in Delhi it is very common ( Common but not good) for girls to be stared at. I think this is because of the lack of women in many men's life's, so she always used to go into the ladies coach in the metro. I understand beautiful girls are well, beautiful. They cant really do anything about it hence a guys tendency will be to look. In Delhi for some reason the look lasts for a really long time & its not the "woah dude look at that girl man! she's so damn pretty, hot cute (whatever floats your boat)" look which is  followed by a smile, its usually the sad I wish you were my wife and other "dirty " thoughts look followed by a drooling face. A public service announcement.MEN IN DELHI, PLEASE STOP STARING, THEY ARE HUMANS IF YOU SMILE THEY MIGHT SMILE BACK. BOTH PARTIES BENEFIT FROM A SMILE & THAT'S IT. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SO CREEPY ABOUT IT.Coming back to my story, so this one day both of us just went in the metro's closest coach instead of the usual split because the doors were just about to close . That day there were two very buff guys ( I wont say which group they belonged to, lets just say it rhymes with farts, seriously you farts need to control the levels of testosterone in your bodies, or get laid once in a while ) who continuously and creepily  just kept staring at her like they had seen a unicorn ( no pun intended). I could feel that this was making her very uncomfortable. I looked at her and whispered in her ear " look at me i'm turning gay" and that's what I did, I started looking at those guys like they were the love of my life and gave them some flying kisses ( I know that's a dangerous game ). That is when one of the guys came close to me and said "Tere jaise chakkon ki wajah se dilli ka naam barbad hai ********d " ( Its because of gays like you that Delhi's name is bad ) . "Sure" I said to myself. Well I succeeded in my mission they stopped staring and went on with their lives.
